Battlefield 1943.

I don't know if you guys have heard, but there's a PSN (and probably XBL too) wide challenge to unlock the 4th map on BF 1943, the Coral Sea. I think this is really cool. No one's ever done this before and it's a good way to bring the community together to... commune.

So yeah, you gonna be participating when it drops?

I should be... I loved 1942. I used to play it at a friend's house all the time until his parents got tired of me and kicked me out. :D

The totals from the 360 and PS3 aren't combined to get 43 million, they're independent and therefore a race to see which system gets there first.

So wait, what is it? I read the OP and it confused me. Can anyone explain clearer?

As soon as a system community gets 43 million kills/deaths that community unlocks a 4th map called "Coral Sea" which is a dogfight only map with planes

I'll probably get the game. If I like it, I'm probably good for about 5,000 kills. Maybe more if summer games continue to bore me as they have been so far
