You might pass me again prehaps wit. :P Especially since this month, I've decided to invest in the game room with new bookshelves, shelfs, and reorganizing my game collection in general. Built 3 bookshelves in the last three days alone as well as put up two shelves on the wall. I'll post pics when I'm all done, but in short it's turning out real great.Hmmm... I dropped a spot? That just wont do... lol :P
I just got 19 more games today so I currently sit in 9th again (in my mind).. just not on the list until next month.
It's getting to the time of year where I start going on massive game buying sprees, so mayby I'll move up to 7th or 8th by the end of summer.
I really want to own entire collections of EVERY console, so maybe I should just break down and buy bulk lots of sports titles... hahaha
I've never done it beore but I am seriously considering buying large bulk lots on Ebay soon. Any advice? Good experiences, bad experiences?

I found a Voice accessory for the Odyssey 2 a few years back but am unsure if they are still floating around on eBay. Speaking of voice modules, I was also able to find the Intellivoice as well.
As for the Odyssey 3, it seems as though I heard about that but really didn't get any details....only that it got canceled. From your text, it seems as though the video game crash killed it. KGKaiju
Dude, that is in AWESOME shape. I'm not much or an Ebay buyer, I sorta stay away from online purchasing myself. And yeah the video game Crash is what basically denied Magnavox from going forward with it. It was already completed and everything, just not into full production. Crash happened and magnavox, like a lot of companies, pulled out from the game market.
it's sad, back in the day being a fanboy and a fangirl used to be a good thing.[QUOTE="GAMECAMILLER"][QUOTE="waflerevolution"]I'm glad it's not just me.waflerevolution
oh really? what day did you live in where being a fanatic was a good thing?
the 90's... Good ol Sega vs. Nintendo days. :P

And sorry to hear about your car man, sounds like those kids need to learn some respect. I can't stand people who destroy others property.KGKaiju
Yeah, I never did that as a kid. Perhaps it is because I was disciplined when I did something wrong. Some parents do whatever their children say.......This begs the question.....Who is the parent in that relationship? Anyway, I have decided not to let some punk wield too much influence on my collecting....so I decided to do as I normally would (though I had to get a ride).

Thanks! :)Wow! What a string of finds!
On a sad......more like angry note.....some bratty teenager shot the driver's side window out of my car with a pellet gun. This is the second time that my car has been vandalized in the last three months (My driver's side mirror was knocked off earlier.). Sometimes I wish that teenagers could be thrown in jail after graduating....This crap is getting old. It looks like I will be spending money getting my car repaired instead of buying games or saving up for my vacation. Stupid brats.....

When I first saw it, that's what my thought was. I never heard of such a thing, but did some research and poof, it's legit, and supposedly there was a decent amount made (at least concerning something like this anyway). They must be darn good, as from what i hear it's pictures is really top notch and the units hold up really well.So that is what that thing was;
I saw one years ago (the NES version) for sale at a gamingcon in Toronto and it just looked so chopshop to me I assumed it was just some guys invention, I had no idea it was licenced.

and I bet they run up quite a few hundred dollars, especilaly if the condition is right. There's 1 on ebay right now selling for about $550 (with $85extra for shipping!)
I wanna see pictures, I've tried tracking one down, but I've yet to come across one. (not online of course)My Magnavox Odyssey has poker chips, screen overlays, index cards, and yes......even fake money. That seems a bit weird to me. Then again, the console also runs on batteries and has cartridges that have no games on them (The games are loaded onto the console. The carts merely act as switches to activate the games.)

I own the Odyssey 2, the console with the keyboard and video game console all in 1. It's complete with severel games for it complete as well, that was given to me for free by a neighbor about a decade ago. My version has the controllers that do not un-attach, some later ones remedied this.
I always wanted to get "The voice" expansion unit for it.
Also, fun fact, there was supposed to be a Odyssey 3, that would have came out in '83...but you know how that story goes.
