Does anyone else agree with me that The Smiths are one of, if not the greatest, bands of all time? I mean,in the short time they were together they recorded four hit records, including 'The Queen Is Dead', which regularly appears very highly on 'greatest album of all time' lists. Morrissey's fantastic, witty lyrics and Marr's musical genius surely make this one of the greatest acts ever? They invented indie as a genre, and bands as diverse as Oasis and Fall Out Boy admit to being influenced and inspired by them. What does everyone else think?
