Well I cannot use my 360 controller on my PC until the buttons are mapped And I have no idea how to map the buttons so as of now (9 1/2 hours later) I stil have no working 360 cotrller and no instructions on how to go about mapping the buttons.

Sorry, but I am going to say that, this so called easy to use program isn'e easy to use at all in fact it is overly complex and I need someone to explain how you map the buttons to the controller.

Until this is explained in an understandble fashion, then I stand by what i said, because no one is going to tell me to use a program then not explain the proceedure for using it, then keep telling me it works.

So at this point I have come to the conclusion that all the people who said this works, but refuse to explain have not actually used it and are just saying they did to try and aggravate me

I lost you sorry

This is the deal have you ever used you're 360 contrller on the PC? If no then ignore the rest of this reply but if YES then read below?

There are 2 programs that at least 12 people here said can be used to enable a 360 controller to be used on the PC for ANY game (not just the games that come with joystick support

In order for the 360 controller to be able to be used on the PC, It is advisable to use Windows XP and not Vita. Anyway you need to have you're 360 controller connected to you're PC using the correct software and or the proper connection.

I wireless 360 controller needs a device

A wired controller only needs the usb port in your computer. (I have a wired controller, and I am using windows XP)

You then need the drivers for the controller in order to have the computer read the controller

After you download and install the software you need to calibrate the controller, then you need to test the buttons and make sure the guide button is lit up green on the upper left half circle. Ok all of that is all well and good

In order for you to use the controller in a game you need to map/assign the buttons using a program either xpadder or joytokey (joytokey is recommended over xpadder)

Now this is where the problem stems from:

I can't use my controller on my PC becaus I don't have the buttons mapped (And everyone who read my topics and replies know this)

However I can't map the buttons because I have no idea how, and so far not one person who said to use this program or has used them can or has or is willing explain how you go about mapping the buttons. I have been at this for over 9 hours now and I still have yet to use my 360 controller on my PC, now people are acting surprised

That is the problem

Using either xpadder or joytokey

I want to use my 360 controller on my PC, but I cannot do that until the buttons get mapped and I cannot map the buttons unless someone explains how.

What is the exact proceedure used in either of these programs to map the buttons to a controller?

i'll answer you're question about this topic when you can answer me Why out of the 50 plus responses to this, why can't anyone explain how they used the program in order to get the buttons mapped to the controller?

For the record under law, saying something works, providing zero explaination how they got it to work, is making a false claim Why do people make the claim that people have tried to help me (when none was given) and then complaining that I didn't take the help that was never offered? And say i am not listening?

I have been at this for going on a little over 9 hours now. And all I get is the same line of BS from teh same people, over and over.

So far not one of you has biothered to help me (You can thinnk you have but you really have not) if people really wanted to help then go back and count the number of times i have asked how you use either of the 2 programs mentioned, to map the buttons to the controller using either of them?

All people keep saying is either

"It works"

OR

You need to map the buttons

I know I need to use a program and I know the buttons need to be mapped.

So why do people keep telling me to do something i already know?

What gets me is how many of you totally ignored the fact of me asking how to you map teh buttons to the controller using the program?

Until these buttons get mapped the controller is useless, And until someoen goes through and explains teh exact process on how to go abouot mapping the buttons using the program, Then I not only have a dead controller that cannot be used, but i also have 2 programs that obviously can't be used to do what people said they can do, but on top of all that, I still have people that are at this point blatenet liars about using something that cannnot be used.

If you people are claiming you used the 360 controller on the PC then that means You people somehow were able to map the buttons using the program. So the issue here is why can't someone explain how to me the way tehy used the program in order to get teh buttons mapped so that they can use the controller on the PC?

No explainations on how to use a program that is being recommended or needed means that the people who can't explain how to usee the program to map the buttons to teh controller, have never used the 360 controller on the PC themselves.

to the above 2 posters

You both are blatent liars, there is no way either of you or anyone else could have used a 360 controller on the PC the controller doesn't do anything when you try the buttons in a game

So what you are saying then is that xpadder really doesn't work and that no one here uses it and they are lying, and you don't want to admit it doesn't work

All i know is that I did EXACTLY WHAT PEOPLE SAID:

People told me to download xpadder --- ok i did that

I launch xpadder and then I try to use the 360 controller in a game and it still doesn't do a damn thing

So it's obvious that people have blatently lied about how xpadder can allow a 360 controller to be used on a PC.

Ok you and everyone else keep telling me to use xpadder but so far not one of you want to expplain HOW YOU USE XPADDER?

So far according to everyone so far all I have to do is this:

1) Download xpadder

2) Launch Xpadder

And after xpadder is launched i can use the 360 controller on games on my PC

That is what everyone has been telling me.

OK following people's advice

1) I download xpadder

2) I launched xpadder

3) But when launch the game and try to use the controller, how come it still doesn't do anything

As you can clearly see I did everything people said to do so what's the problem
