I'm Atheist, and I personally prefer games to be neutral in whether they're preaching faith or not. That being said, I don't mind games with a religious theme, as long as they're not trying to preach beliefs on me. I just think of it as a mythical setting (see Xenogears, although that was a bit preachy) and go from there. I don't think video games should try and influence our beliefs, but I'm fine if they address religious themes in a fictional way.

$60. Games are released at $99 here, and we're even more crippled in terms of DLC delays. You guys will be fine. Try coping with overseas prices of games first.

@taddia I don't use the charge cradle when playing. I play it at uni or at work during breaks. Don't get the battery pack. It voids warranty. Wait a year before you do it, as heaps of 3DS's are stuffing up with eShop errors, such as mine, and you know it's bad when technical support doesn't have the error code on file.

@taddia. On max light level, with power save off and 3D on, playing Zelda, I get 2-2.5 hours. Compare that to my PSP where I have max brightness, wifi-on and with ad-hoc party (i.e. it's using bluetooth the whole time) I get 6-8 hours. HUGE difference, especially when the 3DS is the next-gen console. 3DS has potential, but it really needed a better battery life. The one it has sucks.

I have a 3DS. The battery life is pathetic. Sounds good for Netflix, but the thing can barely go 2 hours when playing in 3D, the mode the system was designed for.

Reviewers need to ignore day-one patches and review the version they're sent, developers need to realize that they have to do testing prior to a game being released, and rushing a game to think "We can fix it later" is stupid. If reviewers put their foot down and review these unfinished products, then hopefully developers will start to realize that they need to do their own bug testing, rather than getting the public to do it for them after they've paid for it.

My opinion was I had never played Street Fighter IV, and I wanted to try it, and 3D looked nifty. Also, I really liked the DS and a lot of games are coming out soon, like the new Devil Survivor. IF ONLY IT WOULD RELEASE IN AUSTRALIA!!!!

@powerfulone1987 Have you seen the graphics? DS wasn't next-gen and it has heaps and heaps of good games on it, and the 3DS has far superior graphics to that of the DS, it's a big step up. NGP may be kicking it into overdrive, but 3DS is still a huge update to graphics and processing power. Nintendo isn't ever gonna do next-gen again. There's too much money in cheaply produced consoles like the Wii and 3DS. But 3DS is looking promising so far, and it already has better titles on the horizon than NGP (Namely Layton Vs Phoenix, the best idea for a game ever, and Devil Survivor Overclocked), and there's even rumours of a Monster Hunter coming.

I still can't see any major difference between the 3. I would honestly just get the consoles based on what games are on them, as you aren't gonna notice these differences. Plus, top of the line pcs cost as much as a 360 and a ps3, normally more. They're about 2.5k here in australia.

If you ask me, the difference isn't noticeable, and with most games being multiconsole, it doesn't matter too much overly. A slightly better definition of rocks or shadows isn't really much of a difference. I have a ps3, and the reason I got it was for the exclusives like Heavenly Sword and Resistance. PC gaming is still superior by far in terms of graphics, but the consoles are a lot of fun. To be honest, although PS3 may end up having better graphics (like the original Xbox did), no-one's really gonna care.
