@Evz0rz No, because they are comparing it to Halo when it's a completely new IP, and my first thoughts when reading the headline made it sound like Black Tusk Studios was developing the next Halo and instead of 343 Industries. It also sounds dumb because it's rumored to be a Kinect based shooter. Misleading and dumb.

I want them to take their time with it, but I wish the new Zelda was ready for release by next year. This, of course, will surely not happen. I just hope it's better than the linear and control wonky game that Skyward Sword was.

The Wii U needs some more solid titles soon. And I realize there are solid titles to be found on the system presently, but I'm not interested in games that were released for other consoles. I might be if I hadn't already played them and if they truly added something special to the gameplay experience. The only game I care about that has a release date in the relative future is Pikmin 3. I hope we see some other great game releases next year.

I think this system has tons of potential. I really hope developers, as well as gamers, support it.

I'm down for this. Unless, of course, it's a sequel to the garbage that was Yoshi's Story.

The Wii U is awesome, and truly a huge leap over the Wii. There are so many possibilities for the system, and I REALLY hope it catches on. I am so glad I stood in line for 9 hours to get one of my own! The system is really impressive, and we're just at the beginning.

This simply means that Square Enix will never do a remake of FFVII. Square Enix has forever destroyed the Final Fantasy name. It would take an absolute miracle for them to make another decent FF game, and I find it extremely unlikely they will ever outdo the sales of FFVII. I also do not believe they will ever achieve again the glory they once were.

In my personal opinion, I don't even think they should do a remake. Nothing they could ever do to "enhance" that game will make me happy. That game is a classic, and messing with it will destroy it as George Lucas has ruined the original Star Wars trilogy with supposed "enhancements."

Your comparisons are terrible as the N64 had some of the greatest games of all time and in no way compares to the Wii. If the Wii equals the N64, then the Wii had plenty of excellent games, which is not true and in reality were few and far between. The N64 also made 3D gaming a reality in a time that 2D gaming was prominent, not to mention the fact that just about all of the 3D gaming interfaces we now see in current gaming are essentially just copies or modifications of the Super Mario 64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time engine/interfaces. Gaming as we know it would not be the same without the influence of the N64. Also, the Wii sold better than the N64, so the comparison fails again, on both levels. The systems you're comparing are also two generations apart. That doesn't make a lot of sense. The WiiU is also a completely different beast than the Gamecube, so the comparison again fails. I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say, but it seems like you're saying Nintendo is going to fail by comparing things back to older systems that didn't do so hot to a system that clearly has sold more systems than any other console this generation (baffling as that is). If that's the case, then the way you're comparing says that the WiiU is going to sell like crazy. Try again. You fail.

True, but Skyrim has millions of problems and is still worth a 9-10 score. The games that score 6.5 and below generally can't make up for the fact that the game isn't actually awesome enough to justify the flaws. Also, not very many people want to spend money on a sub-par game, regardless of the reasons why they're sub-par.
