@philMcCrevis It definitely has a market. It may be much smaller than Nintendo wants it to be right now, but there are a lot of people who love their Wii U's. If people would honestly give the system a chance they would see that the system is a lot of fun. I was super skeptical before the system came out, but I think it's awesome, and it has a ton of potential.

@vatorus @WoodenStick Unless you are investing in fun, vatorus. There are plenty of fun games to play on Wii, and plenty more to come for the new system.

@Meta_Dragon The only way it will brick is if you unplug the system before the update is complete. It's a terribly long and unfortunate update, though. With the system update and the two games I had to update, it took me two hours. Not fun when you are starving to play your brand new gaming system.

@valcrist09 I agree with everything except where you say Nintendo never cared about having a powerful system. They absolutely used to care about that. I love your comment, though.

Reading some of these comments, SOOOOO many people have no idea how fun the Wii U actually is. It leaves some things to be desired, but the system truly has potential. I like it loads more than ever thought I would, and I was very skeptical before I bought it. I have spoken to many people who feel the same.

@DarthLod Although I agree handhelds are not terribly comfortable, it's sad that you've never experienced some of the awesome gaming (that you can take with you anywhere) that is to be had on handheld gaming systems. Idiotic is far from what handhelds are.

As sad as it makes me (even though I personally don't care much for Sony products), tablets have pretty much destroyed handheld gaming systems. They should still have a niche market in the coming years, but sales of handhelds will never reach the high tally of past generations.

It honestly scares me to think of what gaming is going to look like in 5 years. Of course, I wouldn't mind paying 99 cents for a AAA title, but I don't think that's ever really going to happen.

@The_Dragon_Born Because of the delay? That's actually old news. The system is lots of fun as it is, though. I don't think many people realize this.
