Good call on Vikings. It's a great show that takes history seriously. When I found out it was created by the same dude who made The Tudors for HBO, I was sold. I think The Tudors was better than Game of Thrones, though perhaps my opinion is colored by an appreciation for history, and the Tudors has the advantage of depicting events that actually happened. But the dialogue and costumes in Tudors was incredible too. So expect Vikings to have some historical realism to flavor what's marketed as a mere swashbuckling romp.
There was a bit in Clive Barker's Undying, a first-person horror game, where you come to a mirror in the mansion and you see your reflection. "Wow that's cool,I can see my character's reflection" you think to yourself. Suddenly a figure appears in the mirror BEHIND you and speaks to you. You whip around in a panic but there's nothing there! You look back in the mirror and the figure is gone... What the FUUUUU!!
Also, Half-life, pretty much any head crab encounter gives you a heart attack.
