my ps3's drive die last night. Everything work, i can play all the game that i downloaded but the disc drive is dead. It won't read disc when i slide it in and will blank the screen.

Have this ever happen to you before? i did Hard Reset but still no hope.

My question is, my ps3 is over a year old so i the warranty is gone. How much will i be looking at if i am to send it in to Sony?

I take back what I said earlier. A release was just put out that the PS3 will be able to do DTS-HDMA as well soon. So there ya go.nosferatu

yep, it will be out in 7 days, but keep in mind that the ps3 STILL cannot bitstream those master Audio source, it will decode and send it right to the receiver.

=) if you're not into video game, you should get the standalone. The ps3 can not bittream True HD (DTS-Master Audio)

i must agree, the ps3 has the fastest loading time for BD
