This is true to a point, the missions for Joey Leone in GTA3 require you to come buy his shop of during business hours, but you never had a situation in any previous GTA game like the ones in GTA4 where you are told by someone to meet then on a certain day at a certain time to do a mission.rragnaar
Aww, I see, it'd been a while since I played it.
Ehh, I still don't like the idea, just reminds me of some of the missions in Oblivion where you have to meet so-and-so and such-and-such time which always led to get there early and wait so you don't miss it and have to wait another full day to do it again. GTA has always crafted a since of urgency by giving you time limits, "get here in 5 minutes" and if they want to change that text to, "get here by 8:00" and have the timer count up (your clock) then it's simply a visual alteration. I don't see it adding anything that hasn't been there.

I think the time thing is great, but that is just me. I think it will add to the idea that you are in a real world with real rules.I never played SA but I'm pretty sure the time thing was present in GTAIII. So it's nothing new. If they're putting a heavier emphasis on it, that's another story.

First of all, the ps3 is starting to become more popular. Second of all, kingdom hearts 3 will come to the playstation 3 because of the sucess of the first two. I am sure it will come out on Wii as well and maybe, just maybe, 360. But i am positive that it will come out on the ps3 and wii. I would be ashamed with sqaure if it never came on ps3.EmptySki

I haven't played a FF game since FFX so I'm not worried about getting burned out on the series. That said, the scans and cg trailers don't excite me at all. For some reason I could easily avoid all the info about this game until the reviews are out next year and decide whether or not it's worth buying a PS3 for.

One thing I found on GAF is that "2 Minutes real time is now equal to 1 Hour In-Game time. Thus, longer, more fleshed out days." I'm glad they are shooting for a more realistic game. I hope the cops are so realistic that if you drive wrecklessly it'll attract their attention (like in Driver 2) and based on the extent of your crime either give you a ticket or bust you. I think minor charges would make things like driving like a maniac that more exhilerating.
My dream GTA is a real world simulator. Why do that when I can just walk outside and experiance a real world? Well I want respawns :)
If so? Epic should be kicking itself in the balls after releasing UT3 on everything but the system that sales games. If Crytec really wants to make the same mistake... go for it. The only thing I'm walking away with is the pleasant idea that the console versions got some extra features (ones that would probably be updated for the PC).
The 360's attach ratio is 7.0 and even if the Wii sold a bunch of $20 movie license shovelware games, the developers I care about will pay more attention to the fact that "To date, 33 third party games on Xbox 360 hit the top 10 list across all consoles compared to five third party games on PS3, and four on Wii." - Link
I think this was the perfect choice, I wanted to download the game but I heard no one played it online which would be its main selling point. It's also not some cheap $5 retro game like I expected. Now that everyone will have it I can enjoy the game, and for free.
I didn't even experiance any problems with XBL so I don't feel short-saled at all.
