@eli150: Whereas I prefer to play as a female character. Guess one of us will have to be disappointed then...

@cboye18:
I'd say the opposite, the biggest problem with The Last of Us was that there was just way too much shooting people, it completely undermined the gravity and realism of the situation.

Like I've previously stated, I will never buy another region locked machine ever. Thank you Nintendo for making an already easy decision even easier.

Backwards compatibility is not only important, but essential. Because I can only fit a limited amount of consoles in my room and connected to my TV and atleast some of that space shall regardless be saved for my SNES. Therefore I'd very much like to not be forced to keep my PS2 around after buying a PS3. Cause I like to play good games. Just pretty graphics can crawl up its own rear for all I care. If a game is good, then I wanna play it. Honestly, I sort of feel that the breed that is Gamespot editors (especially US) has kinda lost its touch with reality. Cause guess what, normal people that doesn't have it as their job to play through the newest games on a regular basis and also doesn't have continuous and virtually limitless exposure and availability to the latest and greatest games... They kinda like to play old games. Yeah, I know it's weird. A game that came out a few years ago can still be appealing, it's mind boggling. And that's despite the fact that the graphics are ugly. I just last year played the PS Resident Evil games (the 3rd for the very first time) and I enjoyed every minute of it. Regardless of gaming evolution. So yeah, backward compatibility matters something fierce. I'm gonna buy one regardless probably, cause I would never miss a single English-translated Suikoden game ever, but I'll be keeping my PS2 around for sure. And odds are that 3 years from now, that will still be the console I'm using most. Due to the PS3 lack of backwards compatibility of course.
