Amazing how outraged and offended the snowflakes became when the news dropped that Homer was going to stop choking Bart. I swear the people who constantly rant about "cancel culture" and over-sensitivity have the lowest capacity to regulate their own emotions over things that really don't matter.
Next month they'll be frothing at the mouth and ranting about how leftists cancelled "Baby, it's cold outside" despite nobody actually being offended by the song.
I played Symphony of the Night again about a year ago, and honestly it greatly overstayed its welcome especially after the more streamlined Metroidvanias that have come out during the past decade.
I can still feel how amazing it was at launch, but I'm pretty sure I won't be making another playthrough.
Glad to see other people in the comments who think VI was hugely overrated. Not to say it's a bad game by any means, but I've made a good four or five attempts to work through it since release, and it's just way too tedious. Chrono Trigger was an all around better game from the SNES Square era.
Also, calling FFVII's battle system too shallow....? There were so many options for materia and weapon/armor combinations, and some of the best and weirdest sidequest options in a FF entry.
I think everyone has their reasons for placing one entry over the other and I think overall this is a pretty reasonable ordering, but at the same time there are some strange takes on this list.
Looks solid, but I really do miss when Square Enix did Final Fantasy JRPG's. Would've been nice if they just made new IPs for their MMORPG's and action games.
@jinzo9988: There's a lot of difference between Duke Nukem and someone like Dave Chappelle, to be fair. Duke Nukem was tongue-in-cheek and his comments were meant to be offensive and not taken seriously. People like Dave and his fans use outright bigotry as the punchline and then cry when they get called on it. Honestly some comedians and the people who share their beliefs need to stop being so thin-skinned and stop dishing it out if they can't take it, or at least admit to their own beliefs.
And people who are always desperate to be outraged should probably stop pretending that anybody on the left is actually offended by Duke Nukem or Tropic Thunder.
@gaeandilth: I would've been with you if you just said he was one of the cringiest characters of all time, but then you made it clear how offended you are and that anyone you consider an SJW lives rent-free in your head 24 hours a day.
@niklasn12: Sony is a massive company and they're charging a serious premium for this headset. The least they could do is sort out backwards compatibility. I don't get why people are simping for them. The hardware is great, but they're clearly not putting a ton of effort into providing customers with value here. They've got a track record for this as well, so I wouldn't expect much better throughout the system's life cycle, although I'd be happy to be wrong as I'd love to be running some HDR VR.
