During the Xbox Partner Preview today, Konami revealed a trailer for its upcoming stealth game Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which runs on Unreal Engine 5.

Although the trailer was less than two minutes long, it showed off quite a bit that fans of the series may recognize. In true Snake Eater fashion, we're given shots of Naked Snake traveling through jungles and swamps while taking down soldiers and avoiding the wildlife. As the trailer goes on, more shots of pivotal story moments are shown off, such as the Virtuous mission, the Dremuchij area Bridge leading up to Rassvet, and the underground water area for The Pain fight.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was originally announced during the PlayStation Showcase earlier this year, and the initial launch trailer showed little to no information on how the game plays. According to Konami, the upcoming Metal Gear Solid remake "brings unprecedented new graphics, immersive stealth action gameplay and sounds to its riveting story as players once again return to the world of Metal Gear." The team working on the upcoming remake has been "involved in the production of the past [games in the] Metal Gear series, and that they'll be working alongside Virtuos, a studio who has also been" working closely with the franchise.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has no release date, but Konami has confirmed that it'll be playable on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Series X|S.
