I find myself upvoting most comments here. As SW fans, we are pretty much on the same page here. George ... just isn't is he? No matter what happens, unless JJ really drops the ball, he'll be piles better than Lucas (as he is now).
@delta5931 Most Alien fans would agree, an apology is due, but Sega is a business and they know they have a cash cow if only they can get a developer that doesn't blatantly lie, cheat and steal from them... coughgearboxcough. If this works out well, then CA could be hired to do a proper Aliens game that would complement this. <hopes being raised again>.
Glad to hear that Runic are getting the sales they deserve.I "knew" Torchlight 2 was going to be better than Diablo III, simply because Runic are, for me, the proper size of a games company. When you get too big you have to make too many compromises. I hope they can use the cash they are making wisely.
p.s. I have to admit I've not played Diablo III. But then again I have zero desire to do so, why bother when there is Torchlight 2?
@Strider8009 @hochstreck I understand your sentiment, fanboyism does suck, but I'll always give Capcom the time of day because of their continued support for the Saturn, long after everyone thought it was dead.
@moc5 The Starcraft II story/ies have the same faults with big budget Hollywood movies - all effects and very little character. This is true of this series. Cardboard cutout characters and as the review said Kerrigan's motivations were not adequately explained.
Bioshock Infinite is easily the biggest game for me this year. I'm just looking forward to a single player game that has a great story. No Co-op, no MMO and ffs, no microtransactions.
