@srgntpep: It kind of worries me. One of my favorite things about Rogue One, after seeing the terrible treatment of Luke in The Last Jedi, was that they killed everyone off. If they’re all dead then they can’t be ruined by some horrible person like Rian Johnson at some future date. I didn’t anticipate them doing a Rogue One prequel...

@iskaroth: I wish that I had been as smart. I cut them slack for TFA, because I wanted to be fair. That was a big mistake. I watched that abomination TLJ once, and I immediately wanted to erase it from my memory. I’ll never watch TROS.

@gr4h4m833zy: I think that they didn’t have enough money to make it well. The dialogue was funny for a minute, but after that I just felt insulted that they didn’t put more effort into it. So many conversations were just incomprehensible. The mechanic of tying health to stamina was really a bad idea. And I felt like it was intentional in order to add in a tedious gameplay element. It seemed to me that the only way to keep the constantly depleting health beads up was to buy food with money that you earned from picking herb sets. Boring and tedious. And the fact that the story wasn’t concluded really grated. I didn’t wait all of these years, and back the Kickstarter, just so that I could have badly translated conversations and pick herbs.

@gr4h4m833zy: You’re right. Shenmue 3 wasn’t as bad as the critics said. It was much worse.

@Litchie: You are absolutely correct. No way in the world I would watch it after The Last Jedi. And God forbid I buy a ticket to see it in a theater. That would tell Disney that I approve of this crap. Which I most certainly do not.

I’m a Force Awakens/Last Jedi hater, but I liked Rogue One a lot. This one had a similar vibe. As in it had a logical plot. So far. Time will tell.

Well, who cares? Lucasfilm still has Johnson. He’s the most important writer director in their eyes so no loss.
