@queuing_for_PS4 @Defy_The_Fallen Obviously there are far better designed games out there, but a game doesn't have to be flawless to be fun. It's certainly not a GOTY contender, but it can still be an enjoyable experience!

Can't they just say "sorry, we know we messed up" instead of making excuses? As far as I can tell, it was a commercial success but the game fell short of what it's supposed to be, an entry in a survival horror series, not a third person action shooter. The sooner they accept they aimed for the wrong audience and made mistakes, the sooner they can fix them. Stop with the excuses!

In all honesty I'm glad it failed. The series peaked at four, and has slowly died thereafter. I hope this has made Capcom realise they're not going to pull a big enough mainstream audience in to keep this style of gameplay going. Stick to the roots or reboot the franchise!

I hope it does turn out to be good, I was one of the few people that really enjoyed Homefront so I'm hoping for something even better the next time round!

As long as I get this game in my hands at some point, I don't care where it goes to at the moment.

@skullomania2 Capcom didn't make the game, just endorsed it and had slight creative control! It was Ninja Theory, a British studio who were allowed to put there own spin on the series. It's in no way effecting the original series since it's a re-imagining, so people upset about it are stupid for not just disregarding it and waiting for a new entry in the mainline series of DmC games.

If you don't like the reboot, stay clear of the reboot, it's that simple. It's in no way continuing the main series as far as storyline is concerned, it's re-imagining it, so just wait for them to do something on the main series if you're that upset about it.

Here's a good example, I played a lot of Call of Duty a few years back. I personally thought that Modern Warfare 2 ruined the franchise as a whole, though I didn't go out of my way to comment on videos about it, since I have no interest. Can't all you elitist DmC fans do the same thing and just disregard the game rather than hate on it and strike down anyone that has a differing opinion to your own? You look like the asshole in the situation, and you're certainly not going to influence the design or production of a game just because you don't like it.
