On the contrary, I'm in my late 30's and have been a gamer since the late 80's. I'm also a father so maybe that's why Last of Us' beginning made such an impression on me.
Note that I'm not saying there aren't other extremely impressive tiles out there that deserve mentioning, it's just that I personally can't think of any other game that had an opening sequence that can hold a candle to LoU.
Oh okay, so you want a reviewer to rate a game based on what might be coming instead of what everyone purchases now?
My experiences with this final product are the same as Van Ord's. Solid game mechanics, boring and tedious as *** gameplay. It's not a very good game, it just isn't dude. Check out user ratings whereever. People kind of agree the game is mediocre and not that much fun.
"a man who treats the lives of so many of his fellow human beings as so disposable would really be capable of placing any meaningful importance on the life of one particular individual. You can't soil your hands with the blood of hundreds and still have room for love in your heart."
By that logic World War II vets are/were incapable of loving their families.
@wa128 Yeah and only as a PC gamer will you experience the joy of waiting for driver updates to get your game working while you scourge the internet for workarounds.
Or how about AMD and Nvidia focusing their latest drivers on their latest $500 gpu's.. Instead, if you buy a PS4 in 2013. you can still play it problem free 8 years from now, good luck with that PC.
I preorderd my PS4 back in Feb. And I'm still getting it but in retrospect I could have easily waited till sometime Q2 2014 because right now it seems there aren't any true MUST play games available. I had good hopes KZ:S was that game but alas...
I love Rockstar but they shouldn't be racist and favor the console race. PC gamers are people too. Just because I'm of personal computer descent doesn't mean I'm a lesser human being.
