I know it preety hard to compare these two games but i was wondering which one's better, NHM or RE4.

How long are they both and do they both have online? How many players are usually online?

Thanks.

bestibomber
Neither have online. I've never played No More Heroes, so I'll skip to RE4. It's a great game with great controls. It's very epic and dark and it's a fairly challenging game. Definitely, at least, try it out.

From the GoNintendo article:

Dead Space Extraction will not be using Wii MotionPlus, and the comment made yesterday is merely misinterpretation. - IGN

It looks like earlier reports that Dead Space: Extraction would support MotionPlus were false. A bit of misunderstood information. I'm not surprised to see that the game doesn't support the controller accessory. When the news first came out, I wasn't too sure how it would have worked!

GoNintendo

Well, that's a bit disappointing. But I guess if there isn't any use for it, why force it in?

Still, I was hoping for some interesting feature that incorporated the little device.

It's only for games compatible with the peripheral. Just look at the back of the box of each game to make sure it's Wii Speak compatible. Old games like Smash Bros. and Mario Kart do not work with it.

Two more gameplay modes and a killcam.

What were the modes?

This is what the Wii needs more of

An experience that uses the Wii's strengths that cannot be found anywhere else

A top tier franchise only makes it sweeter

I suppose this is what you were talking about when you said that franchises on the Wii should take a different path than their brothers on the other platforms. In which case, I agree.

The motion plus support really makes me want to get this game. My only problem with Motion Plus is that you have to buy a stupid rip off of a game to get it. There are not nearly enough minigames in Wii Sports Resort to make me want to buy it.

Not all of the minigames in Wii Sports Resort have been announced, so that's not fair to say just yet.

The GoNintendo article.

A portion of an MTV interview with Steve Papoutsis, Executive Producer…

MTV Multiplayer: "Dead Space Extraction" has been announced as a first-person addition to the Dead Space franchise. I understand that that means the game will be on-rails, as opposed to being a standard first-person shooter, but can you clarify exactly what kind of game this is and how we'll be playing it?

Papoutsis: "Dead Space Extraction" is a Guided First Person Experience. The player will be presented with many choices as they play the game, ranging from which path they wish to explore to maneuvering in Zero-G. The game is being developed from the ground up to leverage the unique controls of the Nintendo Wii. Players will use their Wii Remote to aim and dismember oncoming enemies as well as use other mechanics from "Dead Space" such as Stasis and Telekinesis to name a few. When we started designing Extraction, it was important to us to make sure the Controls on the Wii felt natural and made sense. Having the use of motion controls opened up a lot of interesting possibilities for the game that we hope players will enjoy.

MTV Multiplayer: What kind of support does Dead Space Extraction have for multiple players?

Papoutsis: One of my favorite new features in Extraction is our Co-Op play. Say you are playing the story mode at home and a friend drops by, with the push of a button on your second Wii Remote your friend can jump in with you and start blasting apart Necromoprhs.

It is very important to us that people can play with their friends. Our game offers players a lot of strategy options, one person can focus on Dismemberment while the other is using Stasis to slow down enemies for example. So far when we play we are having a great time figuring out what the best strategy to use is on our variety of enemies and encounters.

Another important goal for us is to make sure that both players always feel engaged, challenged and are using their skills in the game. We want player 2 to feel just as involved and important as player 1 throughout the game.

GoNintendo

The more I hear about this game, the more interested I get. It definitely seems like it's going to be a quality game to look forward to.

What are your thoughts?

Just hold the power button, or try unplugging your Wii and plugging it back in.

I'm definitely looking forward to Rune Factory. Echoes of Time looks pretty neat, too, but my attention's with Rune Factory.
