I was really disappointed when they pulled the plug on 1 vs 100. It was special. It was event gaming. It was cool to have times for people to come together on Xbox Live. It was the most sense of community that I ever felt on Live.

TC, you're speaking from your OCD side. Achievements are fun. They add some replayability. It's fun to compare with friends. I always check the list to see if I can pull off all of them but it won't kill me if I don't earn them all. Especially if they are odd ball multiplayer achievements or involve too much grinding. Too many people would be disappointed if they were taken away for the next gen.

I think it will sell as well as any Halo game before it. It is Halo after all. I think it will for the most part stay true to the Halo formula. It wont feel like a completely different game. The Campaign will have huge set pieces and be very flashy and epic and the multiplayer will be the good ol Red vs Blue that we all remember. I think that delving deeper into the character of Master Chief and Cortana will be very interesting to fans of the series but will be considered contrived or derivative by most. I think that Multiplayer will be tight and have a huge community. And I see these forums and the internet as a whole being flooded by complaints by TWO primary types of fanboys. COD fanboys whos lot in life is to stomp anything outside of their own favorite franchise and to insult the sanity and the sexual preference of anyone who thinks not as they do, and a new growing faction of Bungie fanboys who were convinced since the announcement of the inception of 343 Industries that the Halo franchise is forever ruined and that for any group of people to take up the mantle of Halo development is blasphemousalthough the irony is that there are Im sure, some people involved with 343 that were originally a part of Bungie. I think that the reviews for the most part will be fairly high, with the Halo fanboys complaining about a .5 discrepancy with what they think the scores should be. I think that on Metacritic the official review scores will average very high, while fanboy backlash will set the player review average very low. And although the ending will probably be some sort of cliffhanger to foreshadow Halo 5 and 6, it wont go too outside the box to piss off the fanbase. Theyll wait for Halo 6 to do that

You can pretty much use any external USB HDD with your 360. I have a 1 TB external HDD that I use to store MP3s, pictures and Videos. I can view all of this media through the 360s video player, music player, picture viewer, etc. The HDD appears as another selectable storage option. If used for media storage like THIS, you DO NOT need to format the drive for use on the 360 and ALL SPACE can be accessed and utilized. No worries about being banned. Now, if you want to use the external drive as another option to store actual 360 data, such as gamer profiles, game saves, installs, etc, you would have to format that drive for 360 file use. Easily done through the console. When you do this however, only 16 GBs are allowed. (So as to keep hold of the market of 360 HDDs. If everyone could use their entire multi TB HDDs for actual 360 storage, no one would buy the overpriced 360 HDDs.) So if even if you have a 1 TB HDD, only 16 GB will be utilized for such use.

I would have bought an R2D2 xbox but I'm not supporting that pos. Crap like that getting high sales will just kill the industry.

Wrong forum so don't all lynch me at once, but Journey for the PS3 fits this perfectly. I've been all about Journey for the past two weeks.

@firefox59 - You realize that a lot of people do use their 360 as an all in one entertainment center. A buddy of mine cancelled his cable TV service. He got an inexpensive hd antenna for network tv, but uses his 360 for everything else. Netflix, Hulu, ESPN, etc. At most, 25% of his 360 time is used to play games.

Surprised?

MusashiSensi
Surprised that it scored this poorly? Yes. I wasn't expecting 9 or 10, but to dip down to a 3 was unexpected.
