While I completely disagree with @R4gn4r0k about the gameplay, he's correct that Gearbox did NOT make DNF. They took a basically finished game and published it. They now own the IP, but have never made their own Duke Nukem game. I spent many hours on DNF and had a ton of fun playing it, so I can't wait until Gearbox actually makes their own. I bumped into Randy Pitchford at PAX last year and asked him about it, and he assured me they're working on it.

I've got over 300 hours each in Zelda: BOTW and Fire Emblem Warriors. I'm sure I put tons into Skyrim.

I started with Dark Sun Online as part of the Total Entertainment Network(TEN). I got it just because I needed TEN to play Duke 3D and it was included with the monthly fee, but then tried it later on and was hooked on MMOs ever since. From there, I went to EverQuest and I've been playing that ever since. I played Star Wars Galaxies the entire time that game was around, and it's easily the best MMO ever made.

My big 3 are Duke Nukem Forever, Thief 4, and the Watch Dogs games. Thief and Watch Dogs are just brilliant and DNF is just really fun and funny. I'd much rather shoot people with a freeze ray or shrink ray and then splat them than the standard boring crap that almost all other shooters copy/paste. Humor and funny ways to kill people > standard head-shot, kill-count nonsense. Also, jetpacks.

I wouldn't even recommend this game if you did have friends playing it. It got boring really fast. Just another grinding game to min/max and get headshots. The story wasn't even that great.

My favorite, by far, is Star Wars Galaxies. No other game has better systems than that game had. Best crafting system by far and best space simulation and combat by far. It was completely sandbox so everything was player-made. Even the infamous combat upgrade was fine since it didn't affect crafting or space combat. It only affected PVP, which is a niche community anyway. Jedi were rare and hard to unlock, so when you saw a player Jedi, it was actually a magical experience. I could talk for days about the shipwright crafting profession, smugglers and space combat. You had player-made personal housing and player cities that were actually governed by a player mayor that required a politician profession.

Another one of these posts... It's perfectly fine for you to have a Switch at any age. The problem is you asking if it's ok. This screams immaturity, yet you're asking about getting a mature console.

I've mostly been playing Fire Emblem: Warriors on Switch. I'm travelling tomorrow for the holiday week, so I'll be spending a lot of time on that and Doom on Switch. I might download the latest quest on Zelda and play that and maybe finally start Super Mario Odyssey.

It says free trial at the link. Is it just a trial or the actual full game for free?

Not that it's the answer to your problem, but Razer just announced a gaming phone that has some decent specs. Should look it up if you haven't.
