I played through all of the quests and explored the game pretty thoroughly. I had a lot of fun with Watch Dogs 2(and 1 for that matter).

Not really a stealth game, I mean it is and it isn't. You kind of hide in plain site like Hitman, but if you're looking for a legit stealth game it won't scratch that itch.

I disagree about it not really being a stealth game. It's completely your choice. I spent a lot of time sneaking around and hiding. I completed the entire game without ever shooting anyone. I always snuck up to silently knock them out. If you sit in the bushes and use the jumper and quad copter all the time, then yeah, it's not really the same kind of stealth. But that's a choice you have. I agree it's not the same in that you're not forced to do stealth, but it's definitely an option. I love the Thief series, so I always play with the stealth options in games. Watch Dogs 1 and 2 are pretty good for stealth if that's how you play the game.

Also, if you play this like GTA and shoot the crap out of everyone, then yeah, it's not a stealth game :P But why would you play this game like that?

And while you don't need to apply all the combat mechanics, I really like that a given fight can involve blocking, attacking, parrying and riposting, roll-dodging and backstabbing, and it all flows rather nicely.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Zelda: BOTW yet. It has everything you mentioned in this sentence. It does have the option to button mash a lot of the easier enemies, but if you actually master combat, it's just like you mentioned. You can sneak up and backstab, you can shield parry, dodge sideways or backward, block with your shield, and use charged attacks.

Fighting Lynels in Zelda is really fun when you use all of the skills, and you pretty much have to if you want to be successful. You can kill them with little skill if you don't mind losing lots of hearts and using potions to stay alive, but killing enemies without losing health is very satisfying. Dodging doesn't always work either. It's a matter of timing and direction, so it takes skill to master it. When you get a perfect dodge, you get slow motion and a few free hits, which is extremely satisfying.

Even the smaller enemies are fun to fight when you use the skills. The silver Bokoblins and Moblins can be pretty tough if you just charge in swinging. Learning their moves and using your shield and dodging to counter is very satisfying. Using your shield to parry is one of the most satisfying skills and it requires good timing. When a Lynel comes down at you hard and you swing your shield to smack him away, you create an opening to beat on him a few times. It's satisfying to get the perfect dodge, but I'd say it's even better when you shield parry.

Metroid Prime 4? Hmm. I might consider getting a Switch just for that. I really dislike the Joycons though. It might be hard getting past that.

You know there are controllers besides the joy cons, right? The pro controller is very nice.

Last time Sony and Microsoft disappointed and cleared the stage for Nintendo to shine, they fell flat on their face.

Nintendo gets a re-do now, though with only 30 minutes I'm not expecting much.

Not disagreeing with you, but they said they'll have announcements during the live Treehouse broadcast also. So it's more like 30 minutes+.

I have close to 300 hours into the game. I'm stuck on 117 shrines and can't find two of the remaining shrines. I have 489 korok seeds and all of the armor, minus a couple pieces from Amiibo. I'm set on finding all 120 before fighting Ganon and I want to do it without using the internet to show me where they are. I've literally run through every trail on the map and I've criss-crossed the whole map on foot. My radar is just dead :( I still enjoy running through the world even with as many hours as I have banked. Looking forward to the DLC, too.

Its looks fine, and the gameplay is better than many games this gen.

Graphics alone doesnt make a game great.

BoTW excells in every other area and the graphics good with great art direction.

That's great n all, but i'm judging the pictures posted, and those pics look damn poor compared to the others.

Switch screenshot compression is shite lol. It compresses every pic, THEN saves it to a JPEG format, THEN uploads it to Facebook and Twitter, which have their own shitty compression.

Just copy from your Switch with an SD Card to your computer directly...

Not using any SD cards on the Switch

Why not? That sounds like you're just creating your own problem to complain about. There's an easy solution to get the full images, but you're complaining about compression problems that are easily avoidable.

Sweet baby jesus. Those BotW screens look awful. Blurry, washed out, extremely low res textures, jaggies. What a package!!!

At first, I thought you were asking about online shooters, and was like, "isn't that all of them?" i.e. Overwatch, CoD, etc. I agree with Bulletstorm being a good option, especially with the Duke Nukem content. He's always up for mindless alien smashing.

Seven people I work with got a Switch, and most of them didn't have a WiiU. One of them I convinced to buy one just by bringing mine in and showing him Zelda for 10 minutes. I know one other person is going to buy one after he finishes Mass Effect: Andromeda. I'd say it's getting a way more positive view than the WiiU.

4GB ram and even worse 32gb storage.

Should I buy it or not? :o

Anyone who asks a question that starts off like that shouldn't be playing on a console. Just buy a PC if specs are so fucking important. No console is good in comparison with PC specs.

If you like to play games for fun, then the Switch is completely worth it.
