No, Miles is definitely not a woman.  What little you hear of his voice (Panting, gasps, etc.) sound like a guy and if you look down you can see his body and he's got a masculine build and walk.  I'm also pretty sure Miles is not a unisex name, but I could be wrong.

Edit:  Derp didn't catch the part about them maybe considering a female protagonist.  I suppose they might have at some point, but there's no media to support it.

Yeah, I know they can bust down doors.  But they seem to phase through them too, I will slam a door on an enemy and he'll clip right through it like it was nothing.  In one instance, there were two rooms near each other - but at least far enough that I thought MAYBE I could get a break if I slammed the door on the dude chasing me, ran into the next room, shut its door and climbed in a locker - but when I got in the locker, the rooms door was shut but the dude was clipping through the locker and staring at me before pulling me out.  WTF is going on with my game?

I am only a few hours into the game but I can see why it received a 'graphic sexual content' notice. To address your concerns directly, but without spoiling plot information, you character stumbles across at least one act of necrophilia and there are several fully nude males you see inside the asylum. The former mentioned could classify as violent but not in the sense that I think you are worried about. That situation is extremely brief, and if you aren't paying close attention you may not even see it. To my knowledge and experience thus far, there are no females in the game thankfully eliminating most of those scenarios. I hope this answers your question. That being said, I do hope you purchase the game as, for one that is trying for that super-terrifying label, it enormously succeeds. So please, strap on the headphones, cut the lights, and get your scream on. :)BadDrogo

I actually do own the game, that warning was at the beginning along with your warnings about gore and violence, etc.  And yeah I suppose necrophelia is a form of sexual violence and while it is.... disgusting, you are right that it's not what I was really worried about.  Thanks for letting me know up to a point hopefully I don't have to worry about a depiction of sexual assault, oh and even without female characters that can happen and it would still upset me but at the same time after I made that post I did kind of think that the game would be causing a bit of a stir if it did have such a scene; though even seeing an act of necrophelia sounds like something that might cause a stir amongst some people.

It depends on which "eras" you focus on.  Silent Hill beats Resident Evil up until their fourth entries, at which point Silent Hill hit a slump and RE actually became fun and creepy, even if it still wasn't "horrific" in any way.  RE5 was fun gameplay wise and more fun than recent Silent Hill entries, but it did as many people point out drop the horror aspect to the point that it was just an action game.  While I may not like the more recent Silent Hill games save for "Shattered Memories," at the very least they are still horror games and certainly more playable than RE6.

I'm curious if anyone can tell me why the game says it has graphic sexual content in the warning at the beginning.  I actually don't care about nudity, sex talk, sex scene or whatever since I'm far from prudish but this is a horror game and I get nervous whenever horror movies  have the "Graphic" sexual content label because they often have sexual violence, which is something I cannot handle in any capacity without entering emotional breakdown.  Can someone tell me what the warning was referring to and whether or not I should be worried that the game has any sexual violence?
