People use the same old tired argument that $60 is nothing, yet they fail to justify its worth. Is it worth $60 plain and simple? Hell no. Do people get their money's worth when playing CoD & other games on Live? Why when you can do it free on PSN? PC?

It's assinine to think of purchasing a console + a library of games, you then have to fork over a yearly subscription to fully utilize everything each game has to offer as an acceptable deal. Yet Microsoft has people wrapped around their fingers due to the games. Because of this, people have told Microsoft it's okay to let them be taken advantage of.

Hence Kincet. Hence the focus on a casual library of games. Hence Nuads. Hence another +$10 added sometime early next year.

No it was a great show. It wasn't because the generation that it targeted found it funny soley because of our immature thoughts; it was smart humor. It made a lot of sense when it aired because it tackled a lot of issues that we as people talked about, or watched on the news. It was relevent, relatable, and most important, had all of us laughing out loud.

At the moment, the show sucks. It continued down the same path satarizing anything it could, yet along the way, the smart humor left. South Park always had potty humor, yet to back that up, it had a way of conveying an underlining message that most people could agree with, if not understand completely. Over time you would learn to enjoy the narcissistic gags that come along with watching 4 boys become entangled in a global agenda, yet that very same precedent of a story is the reason why the show is flatlining.

The creators have run out of ideas. They're basically rehashing the same old concepts, throwing it in a slightly different decorated room, and calling it a new episode. That last episode's title was an ego-inflated, /facepalm, ironic twist of words: "You're getting old."

Please.

In a financial meeting, Square Enix president Yoichi Wada said the company was working on a big MMO in addition to Final Fantasy XIV. "I think we will reveal it sometime this year," said Wada.

Are there any? These were the games I first played like 8 years ago on a PS1. I have this urge to play them again. I would have no problem buying them on PSN if they came with achievements! If these don't, do any other platformer games come with any extras?

- Croc, Gex 1 & 3, Tekken 3 (fighter), etc.

You know.. I wish someone would make a thread about how they're GLAD they missed the old generations. It's always the same stuff otherwise. "boo hoo I miss SNES" -- "waaah golden age." Idk if I'm exaggerating the crying sounds too much, I don't really read any of your posts that clearly, but come on. It probably wasn't as good as you guys say it is. Just nostalgia of being kids again. Were it a PS3 or 360 and it was the year 2025, we'd be hearing the samething.

Nah, you're misinterpreting and over-exaggerating. There was something good about having to get together with friends in order to play multiplayer games. Took a lot more dedication. It's similar to the difference between calling somebody on the phone to have a chat, as opposed to meeting up at a cool bar and having a few drinks while reminiscing about the good ol' days.

If you missed out on those gens, then you wouldn't really know what you're talking about anyway. Right?

Right but doesn't stop me from wanting a thread that asks for the opposite. In any case I see your point and I'm semi-trolling. Carry on.

It depends on who the girl is.

For example, one of my friends, she texts me back. Every single time I text her. Either within 5 minutes, or 30 minutes. Even a simple "Hey" garner's a response; she's just like that with anyone. I might not respond for a day or even completely forget her previous text and start up anther one and she responds.

Another one, she will never text back before 3:00 PM because she's always sleeping in or w/e. Sometimes I text and she doesn't respond, or vice versa. Because we're both busy with w/e or we don't feel like texting. We usually end up hanging out, out of the blue from a random text.

Basically in a nutshell: Don't treat texting like talking. Two totally different things. Just because someone doesn't respond doesn't mean they're not interested in you. They have their reasons. For the girl that you described, send a text telling her in a casual way: "hey wanna hang out today? I'm totally bored!" or "want to grab a bite to eat?" Anything really. If she doesn't respond, wait another day. If you text her 2-3 times in a row and try calling her inbetween, you're giving off the impression that you're desperate. And the girl will instantly not like you.

So patience. If she really sucks at texting, just call her one day, man and forget the texting. Or text her, she text replies with a vague "aah, sure, where?" and you call her.

Just because someone views life differently than you, doesn't mean they're wrong. If he values the game more than his girlfriend, good for him. Do what makes ya happy. As for the poll question, I'd probably love it since I love open world games. I'll be getting it when I finish all my PS2 games and get a PS3.

As the first and only one so far, to have voted for Apple, let me laugh at you guys in the face for being right. *mwahahaha* I honestly believe that they have changed so drastically since they first attempted diving into the video game market, that venturing once more into the lion's den will get them much, unneeded success. Their marketing ploy is insane for overpriced gagdets. I don't think they'll have consoles at a high price, but they will strip things from it and hence it won't be as advanced in technology as their competition, but like Wii, casual friendly.
