@Smosh150: How long ago did you try it? AirLink has gotten better since its initial release, but VD works great too if you have issues with it.

@m4a5: If you've got a solid 5ghz wifi network with good reception, Air Link is rock solid in spite of technically still being in "beta". It works so well I don't even bother with my actual wireless headsets most of the time.

@Byshop: Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners is very good, but also it isn't Quest Specific. It is available on Steam for the Index as well.

True but I don't know if the OP has a PC they can stream VR from. All of the games I mentioned are also on PC (TWD is actually crossbuy), or have a PC version that's similar (Sairento on PC is technically a different game with with more content).

As mentioned, there are few actual Quest exclusives but there are a couple. Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge is one, and it's pretty fun and better than Vader Immortal. Jurassic Park Aftermath is another, where you play hide and seek with raptors after the fall of Jurassic Park. Most stuff, though, exists on PC and Quest but it's an important distinction for anyone who needs to rely on the Quest as the entire platform.

@treechopper88: True, but literally none of that news has anything to do with the Quest platform or the game itself, so yeah. Boycotting would be on principle due to all the other scummy things that Facebook does. I don't fault anyone for not wanting to support them, but personally I'm not going to refuse to use the Quest because of all of the issues with the company that owns it.

@unnamable1122: The Quest 2 is a pretty awesome piece of hardware if you can get past the Facebook integration. The Quest itself has a pretty decent library though few actual exclusives (although this is one of them), most games you buy on the Oculus store for Quest are cross-buy with their PC counterparts, and you can use it as a wireless headset on a 5ghz wifi network and it works amazingly well. If you're looking for Quest-specific games, the port of Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners is pretty good. Sairento Untethered is a blast (although not cross buy). Robo Recall on Quest is ok but it takes a pretty big hit graphically from the PC version and I don't think they ever went back and enhanced it for the Quest 2.

@treechopper88: I'm not a fan of the forced Facebook integration, but it's not so much of a deal breaker that I'll refuse to play some awesome games that I'd really enjoy just on principle.

RE4 is one of my all time favorites and I've played/beaten it on more times and across more platforms than I can even remember at this point. But this version is the most fresh take on the formula that has been released to date. I'm 4-5 hours in and it's way more than just a basic port. 6DOF interaction for puzzles, weapon handling, melee attacks really enhance the experience. I'm having an absolute blast with this version.

Is it actually a fantastic or supernatural explanation or does it do a BS rug pull in the final act like the last two games?
