I realize that this will be an unpopular opinion, but there was only one actually decent F&F movie IMHO and that one was Tokyo Drift. The story was ridiculous, the actors were all about a decade too old to be playing high schoolers, and it certainly had more style than real substance.

However, it also had some really good actors slumming it big time (Sonny Chiba, Lucas Black), a greater emphasis on actual racing than most any of the movies in the franchise, a surprisingly decent "fish out of water" element to the story, and a decent soundtrack. They also introduced the most interesting character in the series, Han, only to kill him off by the end of the film and then immediately realize their mistake and proceed to try to undo it by making the subsequent films prequels just so they would have a justification for bringing Sung Kang back for three more films.

Woot! His Bond films have been my favorite, so far. It would have been a bummer for him to leave right after they introduced SPECTRE.

@Paulf001: @PS2fweak: If it were a conspiracy, you could call it MovieSpotGate. :)

Gamespot's article extend to entertainment and technology news as well since these topics are tangentally related to video gaming. The Fast and the Furious film series, for instance, has had three games based on it to my knoweldge.

The review describes the main character as misogynistic, which is not accurate. Misogyny is the hatred of women. At most the Deadpool character behaves like a horny adolescent and sexist, which is where some of the juvenile humor comes from. At no point is he misogynistic, as that would kill any humor pretty quickly. Tom Cruise's character in the movie Magnolia is an example of a misogynist.

This reminds me of Spec Ops: The Line, in as much as it's there to tell a story, and that story may or may not be fun or entertaining. Requiem for a Dream was a damned good movie, but I wouldn't call it fun and I doubt I'd ever sit down and watch it all the way through again. For games to gain the same level of acceptance as movies, tastefully done games that tackle rough subject matters must exist. I have no idea if this "game" will be one of those, but I see the attempt as a step in the right direction.
