I'm not sure at this point. The majority of the games I'm interested will be coming out on the 360. Unless the PS3 version of multiplatform games is obviously superior, I'll likely be getting them on the 360 for the achievement points if nothing else. I'm hoping there will be more coming out for the PS3 eventually. So far, I'm most interested in Haze and Killzone 2.

My first couple of experiences with Blu Ray left me less than impressed. It does lookbetter, but I think my tv might be too small to really notice the difference over DVD. The difference is apparent after some back and forth comparison, but I wasn't blown away by the difference like when going from VHS to DVD. I'm going to check out some more movies for comparison before deciding whether or not to hold off on getting anymore Blu Ray movies. If I get more of the same, I'll probably stick with DVDs for now.

FFXIII most likely. Not unless there's some major changes to the franchise beyond the battle system. I don't care much for games that require a lot of sitting around watching, and that rules out a lot of JRPGs. I want to play games, not sit around watching them.

Ditto MGS4.I tried the second MGS on the Xbox, and didn't care for it.The first part was all right, though too dialogue heavy for my taste. Then Raiden was introduced, and it was all I could to do to play it a few more hours. What a horrible whiny douche of a character. I later tried MGS:TS on the Gamecube. Snake was more tolerable, but I got turned off for the same reason I don't care for the recent FF games. The game was far too cutscene heavy. Characters took forever to finally die, instead going on and on about how much they hate war, but became a mercenary because their fathers didn't like them. Yadda, yadda. On top of that, I really can't stand a lot of the goofy "stylish" action in the cutscenes, like Snake jumping on that missle, or dodging bullets, etc.

Ontopofthat, I just didn't care for the main gameplay. Though, to be fair this was more due to my own expectations. When MGS got raves for being thef irsts tealthgame (though,it came out around the same time Thief hit the PC), I was hoping for something more along the lines of Thief and the Splinter Cell series (which has far more in common with Thiefthan it does MGS).

We'll see how much these games have in common with theirpredecessors. If it's more of the same, I'll pass. I'm hoping the new games surprise me.

Haze looks interesting. I'm not expecting too much with Killzone 2. The first game didn't set the world on fire like it was hyped to, but it was still worth a few hours of fun despite the technical issues and the bland level design and repetitive combat encounters.

I thinned out my PS2 collection a year or so back. So, I've mostly been playing Champions of Norrath. Now that I have a PS3, I'll be building my PS2 collection back up a bit.

About 85 or so hours for me, and I just started the Shivering Isles stuff.

Nope. I go where the games I want to play are. I've mainly been a PC type player for the last dozen or so years, so when I migrated to consoles I found the Xbox and the 360 the most appealing. Though, I've owned the PS2 and now PS3, as well. I'll keep buying Sony products as long as there are games worth playing on them, same as with the other consoles.

I do lines of coke off a hooker's chest when I play. I find it's the only thing that helps me keep up with the kiddies in multiplayer.

Most definitely. I'm looking forward to checking out the new combat system, too. I don't know that it'll revolutionize anything, but Bioware makes good games.

Oblivion, easily. I have 70 or so hours at last check and I still have quite a ways to go on the main quest.

I've been considering it lately. It'll depend on which games are going to be coming out. So far, the only one I'm mildly interested in that I can't get on the 360 is Resistance. I haven't cared for the more recent Final Fantasy games outside of 11, and couldn't stand either of the MGS games that I tried. I may end up getting a Wii instead.
