She's also the ugliest female humanoid character in the history of video games as well as a shining example of trying way too hard to pander to SJWs who complain incessantly online about how attractive female video game characters are oversexualized and objectify real-life women or some other such nonsense because while women are equal to men, we also have to give them special consideration because they're just too delicate to exist in a world in which other women (real or imagined) are more physically attractive than they are.

So yeah, great job, Bioware. You made a character to appeal to a group of weirdos with contradictory, nonsensical opinions of equality who most likely don't even play your video games because that would cut into their full-time job of protecting imaginary women who are simultaneously strong and independent while also being so emotionally frail that they can't go on in a world in which men may not find them physically attractive and therefore require fictional characters which are more physically attractive than they are to be censored so that they won't have an emotional breakdown over their subjective physical superiority.

I really hate it when developers make statements like this... If you really want to port FFXV to PC then you ought to just make it happen and announce it outright rather than pointlessly test the waters like this as if you really need confirmation that PC Gamers want the latest game in your flagship series.

Also, I find it depressingly humorous that a developer who is willing to take such extreme risks when it comes to the Final Fantasy series feels the need to play it safe/be assured that ports of said games will be successful on another platform.

Truly this is a joyous day for the talented immigrant software engineers from Middle Eastern nations... All 5 of them.

Seriously though, there are plenty of other folks out there who are being discriminated against far more harshly than this, so where are the game devs standing up for them? Oh, that's right, they're not the hot topic right now, so they're not as easy to use for a disingenuous publicity stunt like this.

@chiefwiggum16: Yep, and he did it wrong too because "you're" is short for "you are" ergo he told you to proofread your post citing the correct spelling of a word and telling you to replace it with a combination of two words which don't fit the sentence.

Hardware developers really need to stop doing this every time they announce a new console, it's unnecessary and disingenuous. Obviously your latest hardware is going to become the focus of your efforts upon its release and that's the way it should be, so you don't have to treat consumers like impressionable children and lying about how long you'll continue to support it in hopes that they'll ignorantly take your word for it and buy it expecting it to receive new/exclusive games after its obvious successor has been released.

Seriously, if you want to keep selling the Xbox One in the meantime, then just be honest about it and sell it based on its existing library of games rather than lying that it will continue to recent new releases long after Scorpio is released.

I actually like RE7, but I can already tell you why their shares fell. The fact of the matter is that no matter how you choose to look at it, Resident Evil 7 is too much of a departure from the rest of the series and therefore it alienated a lot of longtime fans. RE7 plays less like a conventional Resident Evil game and more like modern survival horror games like Amnesia, Outlast, or Alien Isolation.

I think the real problem with Capcom is (much like other big-name Japanese developers) that they don't listen to their fans at all, so when they make a mistake and their games sell poorly, instead of listening to feedback from fans on how to make their next game better, they assume that folks just don't like the series at all anymore and make drastic changes that nobody asked for.

All fans wanted was for Resident Evil to get back to its roots and stop being more action than horror, which they did with the Resident Evil Revelations games and fans were happy with, so all they had to do was make RE7 more like the Revelations games, but for whatever reason they thought it would be better to just copy what everyone else is doing with the genre. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Outlast and especially Alien Isolation, but I didn't want Resident Evil to emulate them. That said, I still enjoyed RE7 and am glad it was made, but I think it would have been better if they had made it a new IP rather than calling it Resident Evil. In fact, I still kinda wonder if RE7 actually began development as "Resident Evil 7" and not some other project they were working on with VR in mind, possibly a spin-off or even a completely unrelated game.

@game4metoo: Why anyone from any of the listed countries would ever voluntarily travel back to their country of origin is beyond me, especially when Trump has been saying that he was going to do this right from the beginning.

Seeing as Trump's Travel Policy is namely aimed at Middle-Eastern countries which aren't exactly synonymous with Software development, I fail to see how this could impact the Gaming Industry.

I'm curious which game developers made these statements, but the fact that they aren't being individually quoted here speaks volumes.

It's definitely going to be for The Elder Scrolls Online MMO, possibly a solid release date for Skyrim on the Switch, if it were anything more substantial than that like TESVI, they would save it for E3.
