After spending a weekend on MGS4, i decided that there is no reason for me to ever get a PS3, no matter how much the price may drop in the coming years. PS3 has not a single game that interests me, and MGS4 was rather repetitive.Phazevariance

i doubt u heard that mgs4 was overrated, i doubt u even played an mgs game(ur gonna try to prove me wrong with researching probably lol). ur always relying on ratings, acting as if theyre never wrong for gears, but then when it comes to a ps3 game u never played u say its overrated. and how could u say its forgotten when mgs4 is in gamespots most popular of the day, everyday, and gears isnt there after a month of release(not even in available now games), y do u think it didnt get nominated at all,because gamespot probably new lemmings wuld go crazy if it scored an 8. gameinformer didnt even have it for game of the month(LBP beat it). a game might get overrated but an overrated game never wins game of the year, mgs4 is really a good game. and saying mgs2 is better is ur fake opinion(after u play both u can say). how can my post be opinions when ur denying that mgs4 is overrated? and no one pays attention to the story(thats another biased opinion)? and did uncharted really suck, because an 8/10 sucks right? so im guessing fable 2, banjo, left for dead ,call of duty 2,doa4,pgr3,mass effect, and dead rising all sucked as well. because uncharted scores averages of 8/10, and 9/10s. and no geow2 is not ranked higher than mgs by any site. and mag is name(which could change), halo odst is as bland as its name. ff is 4 disc on 360, have fun. thats becus crappy xbox games like viva pinata sell so much. and the highest selling xbox games ar gta4, halo3, cod4,assasins creed,most multiplats. while ps3s are mgs4,gta4,resitance,uncharted,cod4. at least it has more than 1 exclusive in there, wheres xboxes selling exclusives-_-. enjoy expansion packs for 09.
r u actually serious? ps3 has no games for 09? and have u ever played mgs4, if u truly did u wouldnt be so biased and listen. u say reviews dont matter, mgs4 is overrated bu u keep referring to gears with reviews. of how it gets so much 9's. y do u think gs didnt even nominate that game for goty, because its a dissapointment to the series. also how culd u say ps3 has no games in 09? when all 360 has is Halo(expansion:which game informer even reffered to it as bland and unoriginal), halo wars, which will probably be like command and conquer, way better on the pc and terrible in console.and gta4 lost and damned(expansion) when ps3 has uncharted 2( which the fist one was rated a 9 by many sites,gs didnt though), GoW3 (which is comin late 09), ff13 versus,killzone 2,new ico game(ico has never made a bad game), quantum theory, new R&C, Home(way better than avatars), infamous, heavy rain(which suppoably is amazing), gran turismo(has always owned the forza and pgr series), demons soul, yakuza 3, whight knight. 360 might have ff13 but have fun with a crappy port with 4 discs. and maybe even mag will come out in 09. so 360 is living out of multiplats. 360 has nothin but expansions wich they pay millions for. i wouldnt be surprsised if 360 doesnt get one 9/10 in 09. reason so many people play halo 3 online is because it sold so much cuz all its hype, and 1 month after it came out cod4 owned the **** out of it with its online community, and mgs still has a huge communuty (and its not about the online). but resistance 2 has a humongous community, larger than gears. and yes i did here that geow2 is overrated from fanboys, from 360 fanboys, i have 5 friends who used to talk about halo 3 all day for a week and then they hated it and i theyre as bout as fanboy as u they dont listen. so yeah, 360s not doing too good.Blanco98

if u noticed this whole year how many exlusive 360 games recieved a 9/10? only 1, GeOW2 which everyone i know says its overrated. and how much ps3 games got over a 9/10? 3, resistance 2, littlebigplanet, and mgs4 got perfect 10 and goty. also have you noticed that the past 2 goty which were 360 games became ps3 games, oblivion and bioshock . so as u can see the past is gone and stop reffering to it. also 360s lineup next year is a joke while ps3s best r yet to come, 360s best came out and many dissapointed.
I started playign Doom at age of 4 in argentina and some other random pc titles at the time (btw i had DOS) my dad wrote down the code on a paper and i had to write them to play the game hah, well yea then i moved to America at age of 5 got a playstation and it changed my life lol, started gaming wiuth Metal gear, syphon filter, spyro, crash bandicoot, final fantasy 9, all at an early age and recently went back to a few like ff7 and mgs, im not even mentioning the bad games i played...good times good times.
Also you forgot to mention that ps3 got the video store implemented too, considering its slightly better with a few downs, good stuff is more studios (sony pictureslol which is awsome) the worse thign is that there nto as much movies out compared to 360 selections but there still alot and its only going to improve.
I agree 100% dood, PS3 had a fantastic year, also its not over with the PS3 yet, according to Sony, HOME will be released before the year ends, it seems a little bit late, but who knows anythign can happen, regardless ps3 has a fantastic year.
