at what point in your life did you start gaming ?

when i was 4 or 5 years old.my father is a PC junkie and would always give me games to try and keep be quiet. first game i remember playing was a game called jill of the jungle. turns out the game was created by Ubisoft when they just started up

it was a pretty simple platformer

I was like 4 or 5. Got a Snes. What really amazes me now is, how did I know when stuff was coming out back then. I didn't have any gaming mags back then telling me when certain games were coming out (well I did closer to the time the n64 came out), but I knew somehow back then. Maybe I read this somewhere back then, but I am not sure how I knew when the N64 was coming out. O well...

edit: I just remembered, well maybe, I did get a N64 promo video from Nintendo Power. I used to watch that thing all the time. I didn't however get over excited when I got the system for christmas like that one kid did on youtube.

I was 4 years old when I started console gaming (Mario on NES)

I was 8 years old when I started PC gaming (Ultima 8 on my first PC)

I was 20 years old when I started handheld gaming (New Super Mario Bros on DS)

I have been gaming since 1981 at the ripe old age of 10. Still hanging in there despite the horrible hardware this gen.

started when i was 7yrs old... good old Atari/Spectrum days.. then came the NES/Amiga days... then the Mega Drive/Gamegear days and so on :)
