You're reminding me of how we were all like when Halo 2 was about to come out.

They were talking about wild life etc and how much it added to the atmosphere. To an extent, they were right.

Just don't think there's going to be a whole ecology or something. Don't expect to see tigers eating big game, or monkeys playing with crabs etc. It's just a little visual extra that adds a bit to the atmosphere.

Saw the 18 minute video.

Was good, not amazing, but there was one thing that really bugged me: A.I

You got a game on this grand epic scale, right? Never before seen in a FPS. Then you got some of the most average A.I yet seen. They weren't particularly amazing, and maybe I'm just comparing them to the overall excellece of the other aspects of Crysis.

But yeah.... when I saw the guy taking potshots at a soldier on a machine gun turret:

Shoot....*ugh*.....shoot....*ugh*.....shoot....*ugh* (WTF GET AWAY FROM THE TURRET DUMBA**!!!!).....shoot....*long drawn out death moan*.

A game doesn't have to have the best gfx to win GOTY. The combo of gfx, gameplay, and story have to be great. Look at crysis's story - An FPS where you fight aliens and asian people in the middle of a jubgle. Wow. that's insanele original...

Anyone who thinks Crysis is going to be goty is insane. It'll score at least AA, but GOTY? No...

the thing that hurt the original graphiclly....was its lack of anti-ailising.

This one should support it....it will be a great looking game.

I can play CoD4 for just $400. Can you say the same for Crysis? Didn't think so.

Quit bringing up Crysis into every conversation involving FPS's. For all we know the Crysis gameplay can completely flop.

Crysis will not flop as it's building it off of FarCry's (which got a 9 in gameplay).
