I'm pretty sure I paid like $60 for Batman Returns on the NES. That was also the first game I bought.

I've been playing my Dreamcast a lot lately. I tried to hook up the Genesis to play rugby last night but it wouldn't work. I hope it was just being stubborn and it isn't actually broken. It would suck to have to find and buy a new Genesis.

I just got E.G.G. on the Dreamcast (what an underrated game!), Rugby World Cup '95 on the Genesis, and Fighting Vipers on the Saturn (OMG SO GOOD!).

Yeah, Virtual Boy sucked, but there were at least four games worth playing. Jaguar is barely worth owning even for a collector, but it had AvP and Tempest 2000, so that's something. 3D0 isn't even close, man. Sure, pretty much all of its good games got ported to Saturn later, but at least it had some good games to port.

I'm going to have to vote for CD-i.

It sounds weird to me to say that you beat a game "without cheats" because if you use cheats, you didn't really beat it, right?

I mean, I haven't used a cheat code since I was like 13. I didn't think real gamers even thought about cheats.

Actually quite a few third-party games require the controller pak to save. I know I have a handful, but for some reason the only one I can think of is Shadow Man.

Well the first game I ever played was Burger Time on my cousin's Atari VCS.

The first game I ever had in my house and beat was my sisters' copy of Super Mario Bros.

The first game I ever owned (it was given to me) was Super Mario Bros. 2

The first game I ever bought was Batman Returns (NES).:P

N64 and GCN also use the same composite cables. I want to say Dreamcast and Saturn too, but I could be wrong.

Surprisingly hard to find out original Atari prices on Google. I tracked down a few collectors sites that were selling boxed games that had an original price tags on the games (Although I don't know when the price tags were from and could have been well into it's life cycle and been cheaper than originally priced) But the Atari 2600 games I saw were from 36.99 - 39.99 from this site. Makes sense seeing Canada is always on the short end of the stick and generally paying an extra 30-50% for games and consoles in the last few generations.

BS. I was reading a letter in this game magazine that's not around any more. I forget what it was called but I know it was one word and I want to say it was affiliated with EGM somehow. Anyway, he was complaining about "higher" Canadian prices because Playstation and Dreamcast games were like $60 or 65 or something Canadian. Anyway they converted it and it was actually less than 50 USD. Now thanks to the plummeting dollar, the situation could be different now, but I live close enough to Canada that I've shopped for games there, and I've gotten some pretty good deals.

Wait, is there different content online? I was under the impression that when you went down to Ragol without a side quest, that was like the online version, only with one dude instead of four.
