@baby_pwincess: Came here to say this and you beat me to it. Kevin was my favorite reviewer on this site, but his review for this game I did not agree with at all. IGN also gave it a low score. Recently replayed Alien Iso on my PC on Nightmare. Was at times a pain in the ass but worth it in the end. On Nightmare mode if the Alien (or hell even a working Joe) gets close to you, you are dead. Hiding 9/10 times results in you running out of breath, breaking open the hiding spot, and getting shishkabobbed.
I think the problem with the MSAA is that it is like 8x by default. Gamers Nexus showed that the game runs much better on Intel hardware rather than AMD... A 7350 K was outperforming a R5 1600 by a good deal. Destiny 2 at the moment is not utilizing multithreaded CPUs as well as fast clock speeds. Let's hope they get this fixed before launch since a lot of us are gaming on Ryzen now. I have a i5 7500 gtx 980 ti so am glad to hear it runs fine on my rig.
@nibbin1191: How they could cast Roland as a black dude is beyond me. People just don't understand that Roland's chemistry with Sussannah (Detta) has much to do with Detta's somewhat justifiable dislike of white men. From the sounds of it they just cut her and Eddie out of the movie entirely. IMO anyone except a younger Clint Eastwood playing Roland is a let down.
@deviltaz35: Yea that is probably what he was talking about... I forgot how expensive electronics are over there -- in particular video games in general. I have a friend on PSN in AUS and he told me all about it. I propose changing the currency in AUS from dollars to Dingo Chips to avoid further confusion.
@wayneextremity: The GTX 1080 sells for about $499 & up... when the 1080 ti came out the MSRP dropped to 500 bucks. Where do you get a thousand dollars from ?
You can get 4k / 60fps in Fallout 4 if you turn some settings down and have an i7 or R5 1600 / 1700 GTX 1080 combo easily.
EDIT -- The Xbox One X's GPU is about as powerful as a RX 480... you can't measure the performance of a GPU by it's TFLOPS... my GTX 980 ti is 5.5 tflops but runs games much better than an RX 480 rated near 6 tflops.
@Greyfox-101: Already been stated that Destiny is 30fps on all console platforms... Even if the Xbox One X could hit 60fps in Destiny (it can't due to it's Jaguar CPU) they would keep it at 30 due to the regular Xbone version being 30. Playing competitive multiplayer @ 30 fps against other players playing @ 60 isn't much fun.
