@Idontremember: They have already leaked the specs of the Neo... 2.2 ghz 8 core / apu with around the equivalent of a r7 270 in terms of flops. Far from the 480 specs. I expect the PS4's VR to flop not because of the hardware limitations but the 400 usd price tag and limited support from software devs. VR is cool but it has to be affordable for it to take off.

Looking to pick up a 1070 around Xmas time for my i7 6700 I have sitting here cardless, but if the price of the 480 and 480 x are better I might opt for the less expensive. Am hoping for like 225 / 275 and at those prices the AMD cards would be hard to resist.
This is as good time as any for me to start saving up for a decent PC. I am just using the money I spend on games and saving it towards a PC. I understand why both Sony and MS are putting forward their new consoles, with 4k TVs becoming affordable, but if this continues to be a trend (like a yearly thing) it's better to just start PC gaming. Makes sense as a business model if people want to throw money at them yearly for their PS4-phone 6.1 to take advantage. PC gamers will benefit as the base AAA game will be better.

Dayum, 1 million bucks is a little too much to blow on a waifu pillow wedding. I would have dropped 10.50 on some KFC and like 50 bucks renting the local dive bowling alley. It's not like anyone is going to know.
