Better than their E3 2008 (Wii Music -shudders-). Pretty much on par with E3 2012. Cute, family friendly, not much hype and left us unsatisfied.

Excited for Star Fox, Xenoblade, FE Fate, SMTxFE, and Yokai Watch, but they're mostly pretty niche and not exactly system sellers outside of Japan.

I'll keep my eye on TriForce and Paper Jam. I will fight for that Yarn Yoshi amiibo.

That "Metroid" game and Animal Crossing Festival were some of the bigger disappointments.

Mario Maker looks fun but the amount of time they gave for it was a bit of a hype killer since we already seen enough of it.

The Smash Pre-E3 Direct generated more hype, which is a shame considering the surprises were leaked the day prior. Actually, a lot of their previous directs were more exciting than their E3 2015. A combination of high expectations with nothing all that surprising shown made this E3 very underwhelming.

I'm still salty that after 5 years, this is the "Metroid" game we're getting. It looks cute, but it's not satisfying.

@Hatiko: They should have squeezed that trailer into the digital event instead of having that cute, but unnecessary, Mario montage. Definitely picking it up.

It was cute, but nothing blew me away. Overall very disappointing with a closing as bad as their Nintendo Land fireworks display. Previous Directs brought more hype than this E3.

Looking forward to Starfox, Fire Emblem, SMTxFE and Xenoblade.

@Maroxad: Agreed. It was remarkable and the music was great.

Despite how short the single player was, especially compared to other Nintendo games, I was not disappointed. Those levels and bosses were truly creative and fun.

@nini200: Tbh, I'm really surprise this is another 3DS exclusive considering we just got 4U and MH Stories is on its way. MHX's exclusivity could be the final blow for any hope of another Wii U Monster Hunter. Unless they surprise us with 4UHD in E3, it really does not seem like Capcom wants to support the console.

That's really adorable. Can't wait to see all of them.

I'm a picky Nintendo fan. Well, I'm picky in general when it comes to games. It's a combination of not having enough money and time so I have to make some choices and buy what appeals to me the most. Nintendo consoles have been my primary source of entertainment for the past decade because most of my favorite franchises are exclusive to it, but I pretty much solely focus on Pokemon, Zelda, 3D Marios, Smash, Metroid, RPGs, and the occasional 3rd party title/new IP that catches my eye. I lost interest in Yoshi, Kirby, DK and 2D Marios. I don't deny their quality, but I simply don't have the drive to put time into them. I don't mind playing games that are aimed for children, I have lots of fun with most, but sometimes I don't crave them and look somewhere else. In fact, I have yet to purchase 3D World despite loving 3D Land years ago. I'm aware that it's the highest rated Wii U title and it's foolish of me to not have it already, but I wasn't and still am not interested in it, not as much as I was for Sunshine and the Galaxy games. Maybe I'll pick it up when it's cheaper. I also rarely bother to buy the Pokemon spin-off games.

I think it's common to be a "picky" ____ fan, especially how expensive this hobby can be. I rarely meet people who religiously buys every big Nintendo title.
