Possibly, but I highly doubt any adult will actually get into this, not unless this is extremely passive (i.e., you get a notification, you pull your phone out, 'There is a Pikachu in your vicinity!' you pull the app open, it goes to camera mode, the Pikachu is pretty much right there, no hunting around corners with your phone, you 'snap' it, and you're good to go). Anything that requires the player to actually walk around with their phone held in front of them looking for Pokemon is not going to be something that adults will be comfortable playing.

Definitely. If only they actually showed gameplay.

But if I was a parent, I would rather have my child stay at home with their 3DS than constantly being asked to drive them to some obscure part of town or nearest major city because they must capture a Charizard. Even worse, they'll go alone after school and get themselves lost or in danger. [shrugs] But that's just me.

That's cool, it's a good way to bring Pokemon to smartphones without infringing on the actual games.

Trailer was completely unrealistic, and I don't believe that any adult will play this in real life without a child beside him

Adults won't, but what makes you think this is being targeted at adults? This game is meant for kids who play Minecraft on their mom's iPads, it's to ensure Pokemon as a brand retains mindshare in the mainstream market and is not hemmed out by newer, smart device specific games.

There's no doubt this will be huge for kids, but this trailer was obviously targeted at adults. Adults who grew up with Red and Blue (notice how they only used Kanto pokemon) but no longer play the games. Adults who would rather carry their smartphone (which most do) than their 3DS. Adults who can actually afford to travel across a city, state, or country trying to catch 'em all because they're always on the go.

It definitely seems like they're teasing 7th Gen for next year, but they're also hyping up Zygarde's new form, its 2016 movie, and the green blob as if they're not done with 6th.

Heart Gold and Soul Silver are the best pokemon remakes. In fact, they're one of the best examples of how a remake should be done for any game. The perfect balance of nostalgia and fanservice while further improving the series with new, fun features and not feel outdated. It successfully integrated story elements from Crystal without completely deviating from the original G/S plot. It did not scrap any content available from GSC or Gen IV. It brought everything back and more. We didn't ask for the Pokewalker or every single pokemon following you, including their shiny, gender and form differences, but we still got it. GSC never had a Battle Frontier, but we still got Sinnoh's. Gym leader rematches? That too. GB Sounds to every music track in the game? God bless. They were a step ahead with the IR sensor in the cartridges, which was later used in 5th gen, just like how FRLG introduced wireless trading before it was possible on the DS.

ORAS were utter disappointments. They felt rushed. Incomplete. My expectations for them were not "too high." I expected them to get the same treatment as HGSS. I was spoiled by HGSS. As the generation that introduced gym leader rematches and the battle frontier, I was incredibly distraught by their absences in ORAS. Features that have been in Pokemon games for years, completely gone. And don't even come up to me with that "Emerald introduced them and these aren't Emerald remakes" BS excuse. HGSS was the complete 2nd Gen package with a 4th Gen facelift. It had the story elements from Crystal despite it not being a Crystal remake. It had gym leader rematches despite it not being in 2nd Gen. It had the Sinnoh Battle Frontier despite the concept not existing until Emerald. AND Gamefreak has the audacity to omit the Hoenn Battle Frontier from the Hoenn remakes, replace it with the already boring Battle Maison, AND TEASE US WITH AN "BATTLE FRONTIER UNDER CONSTRUCTION" TEASE RIGHT NEXT TO IT?! Nah. Don't get me started. And how about the trainer customization from XY? There's absolutely no reason for trainer customization to be a "Kalos exclusive feature." Character customization has been a default gameplay feature for RPGs for over a decade. That's the stuff you expect them to continue improving and expanding, to make the player relate more with the main character. And to honor Emerald, they give us a completely gimped Sky Pillar with an hour long fetch quest after beating the game? Thanks for all these legendaries and mega evolutions, but I was not satisfied. ORAS was made with competitive battles and pokedex completion in mind, but that's not enough for me. Especially after how great the DS games were. Gamefreak continues to be one step forward, two steps back.

Capcom still has Monster Hunter and it's better and more successful than ever before. Konami, on the other hand, will pretty much lose all relevance once MGS5 is released.

The reason why it's still being played is understandable and praise worthy, but too many people put Melee on such a high pedestal for a game that's heavily unbalanced. The vast majority of competitive players use the same 4 characters. I would say it's overrated to an extent.

Hmmm... hard choice.

My favorite is Skyward Sword for its story and gameplay, but I'm aware of its faults and wouldn't consider it the "best". I would say Wind Waker is the best since it's the most solid game. The others either lack in story, content, or overworld.

Considering how much they're supporting MK8, Smash and Splatoon with DLC and updates, it would make sense for them to continue when the NX is released. I can definitely see them dropping BC and having GOTY Edition rereleases for these games, and a free digital upgrade for those who already bought the games and registered them to the next Club Nintendo or whatever they're gonna call it.

10/11.

Both the candle and Nintendo's age questions are wrong, but I managed to guess the wrong age answer right.
