okay everyone needs to get over the music. it wasnt "emo" like some people have stated early and it wasn't out of place. a Taylor swift song would be out of place. they changed a song about new york (which the game will be about) and made it sad and depressing which is what the point of the trailer was....so how is it out of place? and PS: its called an teaser trailer for a reason its not a game play trailer get over it some people care about story.

because that's how every new generation should be, right? anyway, you can expect the obvious (better graphics/audio, HD support, more storage space, etc.) and you can expect something unexpected (got it?), since that's what they've been saying for a while. " 'just' a technical upgrade isn't enough, we want something new, different". they gave you something new a different with the wii. and now Microsoft and Sony are playing catch up. but Nintendo needs to upgrade its console in the next gen. when the wii came out it was outdated, now even the ps3 and 360 are starting to show wrinkles. Nintendo needs give dev's something they can work with or its just gonna be a bad joke
Im fine with DRM, BUT it has to be reasonable. This new system Ubi has set-up is treating the consumers like pirates.

Same here. With what Ubi has done with their new DRM, there are a lot of people out there that still have poor internet speeds and some that don't have it at all. Also take into consideration the server issues Ubi had that made it impossible for people to play the legit version of ACII. It makes me wonder why Ubi would release such a restricting DRM when it's basically common knowledge that the DRM will be cracked by the time the game comes out.
i understand that "some" people have legit problems that prevent DRM from working with them. but a larg majority of people just whine about it being there when it doesnt even effect them at all.
You deny the fact that a future mutliplatform release will be more consolish than the previous? I am sorry but i am not even gonna argue with that, its so obvious that everyone should know but i am really not gonna argue when you think that mass effect 2 is not more consolized than the first...ehh mainstreamed, call it mainstream if you wish but so will crysis 2 be more consolized/mainstream/simpistic than the first and the third wil be even more and that applies with ALL games, it should have become common knowledge by now that games will get even more consolish/mainstream/simplistic as the years go by.

Really i was under the impression that mainstreaming = simplification and cod games are what the most casual gamers play....oh wait you said that they wont turn the game like that? i just said that if they turn them into.... no ones looking down the road here. do you remember when crysis first came out all people did was **** about how they couldnt run it and sadly two and half years later it is the still the best looking game ever made. in that much time why hasnt anyone made something better(im not just talking looks think physics, AI and open environments) the hardware isnt in peoples homes this console generation is outdated and a really graphically demanding game just wouldnt sell. now if onLive takes off you could imagine the headroom that would give devs. and dont forgot that mobile support is supposed to be coming sometime in 2010...crysis on the iPhone?

I think it's more what he said about how if Oprah mentions something it becomes insta-popular. that is common knowledge, if i were to say the sky is blue and tomorrow you found out it was you wouldnt be singing my praises. what Oprah says go's everyone knows this.
