The campaign was a disaster. But made up a bit for it's online capabilities.

I got ahold of Halo 4 from a friend of mine. Both of us had never played it before, but had looked into it's trailers and information about our new foes, The Promethians. I had really thought that this game was to be very good. But even the first part of the beginning mission felt odd to me... How did Master Chief all of a sudden get a new helmet out of nowhere? That makes absolutely no sense to me. Even when I saw Halo Legends it didn't say a word about this. But oh well, that's only one flaw so far, the rest should be fine.
No. It wasn't fine. Why did an elite suddenly attack us? Why is there absolutely no information whatsoever about the Arbiter? What the heck is seriously going on here?! I was without a doubt DISSAPOINTED by the story. I liked some of the new guns and the Promethians offered a bit of a challenge. But overall I really didn't find this campaign very good
Online is another story though. Halo 4's online capabilities are very good and well put together. Spartan OPS made the game a little interesting, but I found it as a bit of a knock-off from what Call of Duty did with their Special OPS missions. Anyway, the other online capabilities are nice. The upgraded infection mode really made things pretty fun. Although the Flood appearance in that one was... out of the ordinary...

Overall, the game had a disappointing storyline. But fun online capabilities. This makes it overall disappointing to me, but still can offer some fun thrills. If you're one for Halo's storyline like me, Halo 4 is definitely not your game. But with an Xbox Live subscription, Halo 4's your game!
