Despite its graphical mastery, RAGE severely lacks in all other areas - The ultimate in style over substance
I went into RAGE fairly open minded, to expect a game which was Fallout crossed with Doom and Quake would be setting expectations far too high; but how could Bethesda and Id come together and not make a spectacular game,... Read Full Review

Classic Id fashion. Feels like Fallout 3 with a heavy infusion of quakeage.
First things first; this is a fantastic looking game. Everything in this game looks amazing. The environments are superbly detailed and rich with color and nuance. The character models look terrific too. Their faces ... Read Full Review

Shnazzle Rage!
No Shnazzle Rage makes no sense at all, but it doesn't have to. Rage is a beautiful game that has character detail finesse. It's a pretty game! Everything looks great. The sound pumps out 7.1 if you have a system to do t... Read Full Review

Way too short. everything else is amazing but just too short, would be at least a 9 if it was longer.
Don't be taken away by the fact that it is on 3 discs. You would of thought that means it is a very long game but it defiantly is not. it took me less than 2 days to complete and for an open world game that is VERY bad. ... Read Full Review

I admit that the first impressions of the "playable" Rage were very disappointing for a lot of people; however, let's remember that the very first gameplay impressions of Rage were jawdropping and awesome, and let's reme... Read Full Review

Offers a great experience but not enough of it. Immersive yet should be longer.
Everything in this game is done in order to provide a dense and rich experience, one of the best of this generation, but they just did not have the proper time and resources to extend that ambitious design and execution ... Read Full Review

Ended Just when it was getting good.
Just as I was thinking "Man, I'm gonna be playing this game for weeks!"... the campaign was over. It's built to make you think there's going to be so many more side quests, races, jumps, upgrades, vehicles.... and then ... Read Full Review

As a long time fan of ID, I just have to ask: What? Why?
a decade ago, when i was a little kid, I'd remember loading up my windows 95 PC, clicking on Doom II, and playing for hours, scared as hell from what was before, top-notch visuals, audio design that rivals games of today... Read Full Review
