The game delivers what it promises, but not much more than that.
Since I heard about this game for the first time, I was told that this would be a direct contender against the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and something that would really shine. Sadly, I was wrong... Now, don't get me wr... Read Full Review

A Nuclear Apocaplypse of Potential
For the kind of person who plays video games to experience scenarios which would be impossible to replicate otherwise, Metro 2033 seems like the ideal game. The dark, mutant-infested tunnels and dimly-lit communities of ... Read Full Review

An immersive, atmospheric game, that really digs it's claws into you!
At first, I was having second thoughts about picking up Metro 2033. I had heard from friends and from magazines and websites, that the difficulty ramps up so much, it is really frustrating by the end. But I'm very glad I... Read Full Review

Good game and great story cursed by minor bugs and flaws.
While I enjoyed the storyline very much as well as the scare (and thrill) every time a bad guy or three jump out at me inside the dark metro tunnels, I can't say this is a game I enjoyed as much as I'd hope to have. ... Read Full Review

Superb visuals and a gripping atmosphere are the highlights. If you liked F.E.A.R. or Dead Space, give it a try!
Ahhh, post apocalyptic-ness, that tasty nuclear flavour we all adore. The setting isn't new to most gamers by now, we've seen it done (and done well) in the Fallout series as well as in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Did I mention tha... Read Full Review

Budget game over hyped due to impressive visuals.
I was looking forward to this game for a while but after playing it i can't help but feel it's a budget game dressed up with good visual environments. No point in me talking about the story as it was a dead loss on me... Read Full Review

Great Game , but a little bit far from perfect.
Metro 2033 delivers exactly where it's meant too....in the story. Some may say it's linear which is true but no more than other first person shooters like BFBC2 or COD4. If you want the open free roaming version just g... Read Full Review

Wow this game is buggy, how did this get such high reviews! Starts good, but dont be fooled. Not even worth renting!
After playing through this on normal, just barely in some cases, i honestly dont know how this got such high ratings. It feels like a half finished jumbled piece of garbage at times. There is alot of cool things here ... Read Full Review
