Great Game , but a little bit far from perfect.
Some may say it's linear which is true but no more than other first person shooters like BFBC2 or COD4. If you want the open free roaming version just go pick up Stalker.This game does have great graphics and is very atmospheric and pushes my GTX 260 nicely.I have a hard time finding anything wrong for what I payed for.The voice acting is great even the narrative between levels is great.The music combined with authentic sounding ambient noise and background conversations with heavy Russian accents let you know exactly where you are.Unfortunately where the game lacks it lacks in spades much like it's close cousin Stalker...the multiplayer.If Metro 2033 had multiplayer I would have bought more than one copy and they could have raised the price 20% on me,especially if it had co-op.Also the barter system is imperfect you can't sell your weapons you can only trade them in and offer premium ammo at the same time for a better weapon.The stealth system needs some work also.Great game just a multiplayer mode and a few quick fixes from perfect.
