My opinion, this game was good, but ever so lightly lacking, and leaves you annoyed that there isn't more!
Hironobus' last attempt - Final fantasy 5 Today, on January 30 2010 at around 15:00, i finished Final fantasy 5 after approximately 56 hours of game play. This is only the second FF I've ever finished, and the first o... Read Full Review

You might say it's the black-sheep of the SNES Final Fantasy games...
You might say it's the black-sheep of the SNES Final Fantasy games; sandwiched between two notably story-driven entries, Final Fantasy V doesn't have a memorable lead akin to Cecil of IV or Terra of VI. Furthermore, you'... Read Full Review

It may not be the most popular Final Fantasy, but it stands out as one of the best!
The game follows 4 warriors; Bartz, Lenna, Faris, and Galuf. Their mission is to restore the power of the crystals. This Final Fantasy mixes the old with the new. Instead of them just restoring the crystals(like in Final... Read Full Review

Though it's storyline is disappointing, especially compared to other Final Fantasy games, it's still a satisfying game.
Final Fantasy 5 is a decent game, that will have you addicted for the 30-40 hours until you beat it. It's storyline is a bit weak, which was disappointing since that's where Final Fantasy games typically shine. But this ... Read Full Review

A simple but memorable story and a lot of customisation makes final fantasy V a great game even for the modern fan.
Hey, this is my review for final fantasy V. Final fantasy V wasn't the first final fantasy game I had played, so I wasn't expecting anything great as I had seen the graphics and wasn't sure. But I saw the game cheap... Read Full Review

With a new job system, this final fantasy is revolutionary in its time, and an instant old-school classic
First let me tell you that I am an avid final fantasy fan. I have played, and beat, every final fantasy, with the excpetion of 8, which I just couldn't get into...but that's another story. For some reason or anothe... Read Full Review

Best GBA game ever.
Final Fantasy 5 is the best GBa game ive ever played (equal with FInal Fantasy 6). It takes about 40-50 hours to beat and extra makes it 50-60 hours. I've been messing around and leveled my characters to level 99 so i ha... Read Full Review

A game that will live on in me.
This was the first FF I played a long time ago with the RPGe mod. I sucked at it at first, I even used a tonic on the first boss(heh) but as I got older I got better(playing at the age of 7 can be hard) but I never fully... Read Full Review

It tends to get difficult and a little repetitive at times , but overall , a great solid RPG .

Lots of grinding to level up and lackluster story bring the score down. But this is a well made Japanese RPG.
The gameboy version of FFV has bright colorful old-school graphics and nice fast-moving semi-turn based combat system so what's not to like? The grinding and constant random battles only gets more tedious the longer you... Read Full Review
