    Deus Ex is back! YAY!

Deus Ex was one of those titles that nobody really expected. Released in 2000 by Ion Storm, a developer whose reputation was in shambles after the massive public failure known as Daikatana, Deus Ex provided a style of ga... Read Full Review

What Gamespot Users have to say about Deus Ex: Invisible War

Definitely not a good Deus Ex game, but not as bad I originally thought either.

The more I look at Invisible War, the more I see it as an ok game. A very poor Deus Ex game no doubt, but on its own, it could have been alot worse. To me, I see this game more in the same light as Sonic 06. Both games w... Read Full Review

    You gotta be kidding me

====================================================================================Finally I tried playing this 10 years after it's release. I HATE Human Revolution, but compared to Invisible War it's a decent game - In... Read Full Review

A good game from Ion Storm but does not deserve to be called Deus Ex in any way.

It's amazing how a mere title can affect the whole game's rating. There are two ways to rate Deus Ex: Invisible War. One, rate it as an independent game. Two, rate it as a Deus Ex game. Let's get to it- I'd give Invisibl... Read Full Review

Deus Ex 2 is a decent game on its own, but it takes many steps backwards from its predecessor.

The first Deus-Ex blurred the borders between a role-playing game and a shooter, and did so with a riveting story too. While it does have its own flaws, it was better known for what it achieved than what it did poorly. I... Read Full Review

    A worthy succesor !

Being a great fan of the original Deus Ex, I have for a long time been looking forward to playing Deus Ex Invisible War. Frustratingly Deus Ex Invisible War has been standing idly on my shelf for several years, due to th... Read Full Review

    A supreme disappointment.

Deus Ex Invisible War isn't a bad game. It still has a strong player choice aspect and is more open than a lot of other shooters combined. But when you compare it to the original it falls apart. Everything is smaller and... Read Full Review

    Disapointing

I really loved the original Deus Ex. What a great game that is. A true classic. But Invisible War was a hugh disappointment for me. The graphics are pretty good, even by today's standards, but the environments are very c... Read Full Review

What could of been better. But actually worse.

The first Deus Ex was a great game, the missions where fun and the online play WAS AWESOME!!! Then you ask, whats so bad about the second one? Well, this is whats so bad. First off, there is no online play. The or... Read Full Review

Maybe without the technical issues this would have been a acceptable game.

On my machine, Deus Ex: Invisible War largely failed based upon its numerous technical issues. It regularly crashed, there were clipping issues, at one point I fell between 2 wall segments and in a way that I have not e... Read Full Review

I guarantee you'll have a laugh, for better or worse.

There's something to be said for just having fun in games nowadays. It seems like this past decade has given way to story arcs that are vast and nigh incomprehensible, with combat and dialogue that verges on the extreme ... Read Full Review
