I think people that hate MW2 have no idea what they are talking about!!!!!!!!!!!

Having been a COD player for a few years and watching how the game has changed, my only concern is the MP of MW2. There is still some lag issues with it and I have not seen the Care Package glitch sense the update went in, but the Jav one im unsure about. There are those matches that just make you say WHat the @#&*, but then you can find those matches that are decent. it does come down to the play style and skill of the players..though I am no fan of guys running around with the m203 Grenade luancher hanging out like a tank but that is thereskill level.

I still play MW2 but I do wish they would of stuck with how MW was done.

It is hard to like a game that has so much hype and hysteria around it (not to mention uppity fanboys of it starting threads telling people that they are clueless if they don't like it)

I got it as a gift and returned it within a week. I just prefer the Battlefield games myself. I found Modern Warfare to be very shallow.

The main reason that I don't play the game is simply because it bores me. Once I get shot from fifty feet away by a model 1887 after I unload a whole clip into him it start to wear on someone patenice. MW1 was so much better. Since I bought it on launch day I have played maybe 18 hours. By this time in MW1 I was ninth prestige at 12 days.

The single player I enjoyed except for the way it ends. That was the worst storyline desicion I have ever read, seen, heard, or witnessed. As for the multiplayer, it is not bad if you get in a good game. Other than that it is full of unbalanced killstreaks, cheap tactics, totally unrealistic situations, and glitches. Since when can you sprint at someone with a gun and knife them. In a real situation, the knifer would get his head blown off.

Guns are unbalanced as hell. Every gun type has one weapon that is just that much better than every other one. The hit detection is off as well as I have hit someone eight times without killing them. That is just plain wrong. The maps also are terrible. The maps in the original were awesome and I loved them all to death. I can't stand most of MW2's maps. A few are not bad (highrise being one) but most are terrible and reward campers.

As for saying that people who hate MW2 have no idea what their talking about? Thats just ignorant. Plus being sixteen does not mean that your not childish. I am seventeen and look at how a mature individual conducts a post. NotOMGMW2RULZLOLZOMG!!!!!!! Maybe if you used some proper grammer and your posts were legible your opinion would matter.

Not everybody likes the same thing, and the comment someone posted about hating popular stuff just to rebel? There is so many things wrong with that. Just because you can't accept someone may have a different opinion doesn't mean their trying to rebel. What is the point of hating something because itspopular? How does thatline of logic even make sense? Every personthat hates this game has valid reasons. You can't insult them by saying they have no idea what they are talking about.

I dont hate MW2...but I dont love it. I loved COD, COD2, COD:MW. I had a hard time putting my finger on it originally but perhaps its not enough new gameplay improvements and just overkill with the guns, attachments, perks, and killstreaks. I still play sometimes but im def not hooked how I used to be with the other COD infinity ward titles.

Play it alot still. But it is a glitch fest.

I love Halo and I own all of them. Its just that I was not A big fan of ODST but I still liked it im really exited for REACH but I like MW2 better and all call of Dutys. I dont hate Halo

People just have different opinions. I have mix feelings towards the game, I do think it's overrated but I think it's an okay game. It was a lot of fun when I first got it and started playing it. But the more I got to playing it the more I realized how unrealistic it was. So I understand why some people hate it, not only that but you have tons of people who cheat.

I'm starting to dislike the game myself because of the unrealistic gameplay. I dislike several things about the game, especially the last stand perk. Am I the only one who hates the last stand perk? It's almost like giving your enemy an extra life.

Modern Warfare 2 is a great game, but the multiplayer was slighly better in Call of Duty 4. I haven't encountered very many glitches in my 70+ hours of playing MP, so I can't comment on the so called "glitches" that I haven't even ran into.

Personally I think the TC is a fan boy, but everyone has there opinion, but in my opinion I think MW2 is a Joke. :P

I thinkthe killstreaks messed it up, I noticed this when I played MW2 and then went to CoD4 if you think about it I think that' s the root of the problem. In MW2 you have to get 25 kills without dying to get a nuke,which everyone goes bats**t crazy for, in CoD4 you can only go u to 7 kills and that' s it, so it leaves less incentitive to sit and camp which why there' s not so many campers.

The single player in MW2 is awesome, the spec ops missions are also pretty fun. But the online multiplayer got boring fast for me, the spawning is completely **** up.

My thought is that some of the people bashing the game have obviously never tried it before . Others point out the bad spots in the game, but I really can't find a lot. It's a lot better shooter than any other game for the 360, along with a multitude of gametypes. Ghost_702

that might be true for a small percentage. personally it makes no since as to why some one would complain about a game theyve never put in there disc drive. but imo for the most part people have the same legit gripes ie. spawn locations, a hand full of decent maps, glitches-when there were; still are? but i must admit some of them actually made the game fun rather than just a camp fest. ie. 24 man free for all on rust :lol: intense. what else? boosters who ruin free for all, and some unnecessary kill streaks (most of them), oh and my gun never discharging or magic bullets that disappear.

the last thing i wanted to do was stand out side in the cold at 11:25 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. to spend 60$ and complain on a xbox360 forum about the things the game has done wrong. explain why so many people went back to COD4? obviously somethings wrong with MW2, and sadly some things got lost along the way while making MW2, maybe they added too much or listened to too many irrelevant complaints about the first one.

ah ok with that said it can be a good experiance when people want to stand up and shoot-bullets. but how many games ever go like that.

It's one of the most generic, bland, unoriginal first-person shooters and it's practically a carbon copy of Call of Duty 4... imo.
I think you have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe you should give other multiplayer games a chance and then you'll realize how mediocre MW2 really is.

I think people that hate it either get killed a lot, or are fed up with the Boosters. The Care PAckage glitch and numerous other glitches have been patched I think.

Its not a bad game, in fact I think its quite a good game, but to all people saying that the glitches have been fixed as of the update release a week or two ago, I simply say: Thats not good enough. Look how long the games been out for; over four months and its taken them that long to fix up all the glitches. To me, thats not good enough. Theres no chance in hell that I was ever going to wait four months to play a glitch free game. Half the glitches should not have been in the game in the first place, and to be honest with you, the one big thing I hate about MW2 is IW. They didn't beta test the game, and they paid for it.
