Well this is realy hard one,I was playing both of the games and halo is a bit better so I chose halo,but call of duty 4 is great to.

do you like sci fi shooters or war shooters, if you like both then id say go with halo 3

first off halo 3 is part of a great trilogy, it has vehicles that add a new layer of strategy to MP, it has cooler weapons, thats not to say i dont love cod4, its just that i love halo 3 better, some people say that cod4 has a better campaign, buts thats only cos it changed from WWII to mordern day, if both halo 3 and cod4 were part of a new franchise, then halo 3 campign would be prasied to the sky, and a whole bunch of people like hating on halo because 1. theyre sony fanboys, 2. they like to seem cool going against the mainstream opinion, 3. they dont know what theyre talking abt and just like to be jerks.......i love both games, and theyre both different so i say just get halo 3 now and cod4 later.......and in your heart you know which MP is gonna be played for a longer period of time over the years.......yes its halo 3........also is halo 3 is so bad and worse than cod4, why did both gamespot and IGN rate is higher than cod4?....that truly is a testament to how halo 3 pwns cod4.......

Umm... halo has 8v8... its called Big Team Battle.. I would go with Halo 3 first and get COD4 later. CoD4 starts to feel very repetitive after a while. You find a good spot on the map (maybe via flanking) > Kill number of people > Move before they come for revenge or get killed > repeat.. I suppose if you like camping than its fun but to me it got old fairly fast. You can camp in halo 3 but it is just as rewarding to go around and earn your kills. Thats not to say of course that CoD4 is bad or anything, its an insanely awesome game, but halo 3 is slightly better imo FFXI-Blk-Mage

LMFAO...I find it funny that you say CoD4 becomes repetitive when one of the biggest complaints from people about H3, including those fan boys who live and breath by the game, is that H3 has small maps and IS very repetitive.
