i like halo 3's matchmakin way more than sittin there tryin to finda good match on gears of war. and graphics don't make a game, which is the only thing people seem to look for now days.
For some reason the latest "cool" thing to do is hate Halo 3 for absolutely no reason, I kind of like the game but it is now way superiour to Gears of War. Sorry Master Chief but this marine can't support you any longer, do us both a favor and give up while you still have some respect left.

It's "cool" to hate Halo 3 because of it's diabolical story and EXTREMELY BORING (I cannot emphasise this enough) gameplay. Well they're my reasons.

That ending was terrible but I enjoyed the game play both online and off although I'll admit it can get painfully repetitive at times.
I have to say that both are equally good to me. They're both unique experiences that lead their genre into perfection. I like Gears of War alot and Halo 3. I cannot pick sides =\
