IceFerno: Great to see ya' back. Its also pretty cool that you got a 360. Let me know if/when you get xbox live!:)sputnick2006
Well, I have a month's free of Gold Membership right now. One week into it! But I'm keeping the downloaded demos I enjoy the most so I can save a bit of dough. Some of the games my 360 came with are too hard for me. I also bought Project Gotham Racing 3 off my brother yesterday and I'm waiting for him to bring it round on Sunday. I'm ok at Racing games, y'see ;)
Also, I'll add you to my Live friends. :) I can't remember if Joe said what his Live username is. PM me it, will ya? These forums are too active, I might never find it if put your Gamertag in a post instead.

Hey, Iceferno. I just sent you a PM and I'll tell you on here too. Unforunately, I don't have an Xbox360, just a PS2. I'll just see you all on gamespot and you on chatagno. 8) See you around!!!
Any plans on steping up to the "Next Gen" series joe?sputnick2006
Ummm...for me? Probably not. Even though the next generation is amazing with the graphics and being able to go on-line with it and such, I'm pretty much happy with my PS2. Call it crazy, but yeah....In my career area class, I'm basically the only kid without a 360, PS3, or Wii, but it's under my own decision. Since that I've been working now for only the summer, I've saved up a total of about $780 dollars, and I still have another pay-check coming....
I'm planning on possibly using the money to buy a car for myself when the time comes....
Also, I just can't see myself with a 360 or PS3. I'm fully contented with Gran Turismo 4 and Spyro....
Awesome, bdog! Your finally going to be able to play Ripto's Rage? Great, your love it!!!
Today, nothing much happen. Biggest thing is that I just worked on some of my speed training, but that's about it. Also, I was watching the Beijing Oylmpics. Michael Phelps broke his old World Record in the 400 Men's Sprint in Swimming.
Amazing!!!!
[QUOTE="bd0g5"]Yep. :) So far, i haven't played it yet. My brother actually played it for a few hours in his room...I'll probably play it today though.SOADjoe19
Awesome. I'm sure you'll have a great time on it....;)
Yea, from what i remember, it was really fun!
Hey Sputnick :) You were on XB Live yesterday I think. But I don't really like to talk on live cuz I don't have the mini keyboard yet :P I'll get it soon! I would use this computer, but I tend to have my PC and 360 on at the same time and switch between each quite frequently. So the mini keyboard for me ;)
Have you seen my pathetic excuse of a Gamertag? :P I have a whole 10 points on it! I'm gradually getting better at the racing games. Forza 2 is quite hard, but it's nice to know the cars on PGR3 handle slightly easier :P
Hey everyone? Guess what? Ever hear of Sign-A-Rama? Well, I just called the place near my area and I'm going to buy an enlarged poster of one of the Dawn of the Dragon screensavers. Shown below. It only costs $8.99 (US) a square foot, so that would be perfect! I'm going to order it by this week, so when it's finally done, I'll post a picture of it. I'm putting it in my room. This is going to be awesome....
What do you all think?
I envy you. ;)Now I must look for a place that will do that for me..._Drago_
It's easy really. Just look on mapquest.com for it. Go to the "find directions" page, and type in for the business Sign-A-Rama. :D
Lucky, I'd want a Spyro poster...bd0g5
It's easy really, bdog. Just like I told Drago, just lok them up near you, get their phone number and check them out!
Only thing is, to both of you, I just found out that the $8.99 per square foot is for an ink jet print without laminet. And doing that in my head, something even the small size of a 3ft by 4ft box amounts to $107.88. No matter how much I want this, I'm not paying over a cap of $30-$35 US.
I'm posting again to avoid a wall of text....
If you want to make a poster for yourself, keep in mind the size proportion!!!!
When you do the math, you'll notice that the lenght of each screensaver, no matter what size, will always be 25% longer than the width to make the picture as best as it will be.
So for instance, this is the equation I'm using to find out how big I want my poster. L stands for length, W stands for width
L x .75 = w
So this means that the length of 2 feet I want will have a width of 1.5 feet. So at a square footage of 3 feet at $8.99 a square foot will be a total of $26.97.
Thats the maximum area I can have my poster without going over $30. Your price could be more or less. Just do the same thing I did just now and you can find out the price and width of any poster you want!
Wow, that's some detailed information. Thanks Joe.

For something like this, I could afford to splurge a little, but I might only go for a regular poster.
Now that I remember, there might be a place that makes signs and posters near some arts and crafts store not too far from where I live.
Thanks guys! Yeah, sputnick, don't worry, as soon as its up, I'll show you guys. ;)
And Drago, okay, go for it. Besides, if it's not a Sing-A-Rama, then there's a chance they charge less than $8.99 square foot.
Actually, I'm calling back today and seeing if I can get any other type of banner that could cost less. The $8.99 is for an ink jet with laminet. What am I going to do with a laminated poster on my wall? All I need is a simple poster that will look good. Hopefully, they have something for less per square foot. :|
would anyone happen to know why the pics i uploaded from my computer to gamespot a few days ago still havent showed up on my profile yet? im getting a little frustrated...:(Essence220
Ah, you mean the album of pictures from your vacation? Probably the connection was distrupted and the pictures never fully were downloaded. It can also be if you uploaded them to photobucket or imageshack (whichever you use, I forget) and delete the pictures off of there, then gamespot will lose the link to host the pics on here....
If anything, just download them again. It should work the second time around.....;)
no, i loaing them sraight from off my computer, and i know theres at least one image ive tried to load at least three times, but it still wont work...Essence220
It might just be the site's fault, since it's been buggy and slow the past few days. It's probably because of the new GameSpot Wide they are testing out.
But I have some possible solutions you can try:
Check to see if anything is blocking or interrupting your uploading. There could also be the issue of the pictures not being in a format it wants. I had those two problems before.
If the problem persists, then maybe you could try sending them to Joe or me to upload for you?
Yesterday, i went to the CNE, and at night, i saw Toronto F.C. face The New England Revolution! It was 1-0 for New England for most of the game, but near the end, Toronto tied it up. :) That was my second MLS game i went to.bd0g5
That's great! 11 years old and still healthy! My cat, Max, is four and a half years old. My other cat, Lucky, lived to be 12 and a half years old. I just hope that Max will have as good as a life my other pet did!
*raises beer mug*
Here's to your cat having a great life for the next few years!!! ;)
Yesterday, one of the cats we feed at work go hit by a car. I hate for a couple of my co-workers to find out, since they planned on taking the kitten home. :(
But here is some less saddening news. We have a cat named Leo, who is about a year old. He is one of the most active cats we have had.
Cool. Well, I'm glad that other boys have cats. It seems like I'm the only person who is a guy and has a cat...everyone else has only dogs...:?
And I remember the first time we took my current cat, Max, home. He sniffed around, drank some water, and spent almost three days hiding underneath the couch!
