I don't get why Tretton is talking about how used games/DRM would effect how people perceive the value of games they buy, when charging for online does the same thing...perhaps even more so.

Only free if you never paid in the first place. Subbing to PS+ costs money, therefore nothing you get on the store that says "free" is actually free. It justs costs far far less than retail

But I do think PS+ is amazing. I've been away from the PS3 for 2 years and PS+ was total shit back then. Got a new PS3 yesterday and can't believe the value for money with PS+ now

you've received discounts and massive sales on XBLG for years infact they started having sales soon after the 360's launch.
 

ITS BETTER than xbox because PS4 will NOT ask you for PS+ to watch Netflix or chrunchyroll or any other app, you dont need PS+ to send a text message to friends and so on BUTTT you need it now to play online.

PS+ is far more worth it than Xbox Live anwyays because its $10 cheaper and Sony usually give you 15 months for that $50 unlike MS which is always 12 months, PS+ offers mega discounts and a lot of games if you are not the kind of person to buy too many games, heck they already confirmed 4 games PS+ memebers to get on the PS4 including DriveClub.

It's still better than Xbox. If one person has PS Plus on the same PS4, everyone who uses that PS4 get's to play online, while on Xbox everyone needs to have gold just to play online. Sony wins!
