Why don't YOU own a 3DS?

Not that I EXPECT you to own one. No no no. I Don't even own one. I'm just curious as to why you don't own one.

Well for me, I'm not at all interested in this 3D craze. I would prefer a more powerful DS over stupid 3D gimmicks. The battery life seems like a killer, and the lack of games at the moment makes me want to wait for the next rennovation of the 3DS. Weren't there rumors of them making one that has dual analog and no 3D function?

I stopped caring about handhelds in the 90´s to be honest,and they´re of very little use to me.

I don't own one because my brother does. I mooch off him, like he mooched off my PSP (and still does) for four years and counting.

Because I have a DS and still don't have many of the awesome games available on it.

I do own a 3DS, I am satisfied with Zelda OoT Remake and I am awaiting Mario Kart 7, plus I expect a 3RD Gen Pokemon Remake soon. and that'll be a day one buy for me. :)

I don't own one because I don't have the money to spare at the moment. The new price is what got me interested. I absolutely refuse to pay $250 for a handheld game system. I don't care what it does; for that much, I could go out and buy a PS3.

I have one with OoT and Devil Survivor.

Can't wait for Kid Icarus: Uprising, Paper Mario, Super Mario 3D Land, Cave Story 3D, Animal Crossing, Fantasy Life, Mario Kart 7, Luigi's Mansion 2, Beyond the Labyrinth, Tales of the Abyss, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle, Resident Evil: Revelations and Time Travelers.

However, the rest of the system is nice. I personally love the system's SpotPass/StreetPass features the most. They are really neat little surprises I enjoy when opening my system and seeing I have a challenger in DOA: D from a random person I passed by, or a new Mii in my Plaza that can save my king and help me get cool hats for my Mii to wear. Then there's the online mode, that's much better by having a unified list and a friend's list you can view anytime on the system. I just wish they'd add an update to let you write messages :x Overall it's a great system already, but the software support needs to happen fast... yoshi_64

It sucks. Phones have already passed it by. As for the Nintendo properties..........They can only do so much with the same game over and over again and the Wii taught me they can't do anything else to Mario or Mario Kart.

I don't like it. If I get one, it'll be really late in the gen when it and all of the future Nintendo games that will appeal to me are really cheap.

I have a DS Lite, and since it had a much needed price cut and with a new colour coming out (Flame Red) I've been thinking of getting one a little more seriously, but it lacks games.

Meh... I could be swayed either way. The original Luigi's Mansion was a fun little romp, but honestly it's not what I envisioned our green plumber doing when not accompanying Mario.

Hint hint, Nintendo: We want Super Paper Luigi: Adventures in Eclair Kingdom!

I'm waiting for a hardware revision before I buy one. I actually own a couple 3DS games, SF43D and Zelda OoT 3d, but I'm not in any rush to buy the system yet. I'm not a fan of the battery life it offers.

My Mii Plaza has over 70 passes, and I've had the system for almost a month. As for DOA: D, I have had maybe around 20, but I think that one is less popular. Most people in my Mii Plaza are playing SSFIV, which I don't own yet :P I'll admit, I probably have more luck getting Spot/StreePasses because for me, I take the system to work, and where I work has high traffic volume. I work at Disneyland... :P So you could imagine, I have a much higher chance of getting a streetpass with someone than most normal people. yoshi_64

AS much as I'd like to get one for the upcoming Paper Mario, I can wait until its cheap.

I forgot I had one because it's been collecting dust for so long. Hey Nintendo! Some games would be nice.

Why should I get a handheld when I can do almost the same exact thing on my Droid?

I don't own one because if I want to play games on the road, I'll just use my phone.

It doesn't have a lot of games that interests me.

I can just play games on my ipod for way cheaper.

The lack of games that make me want to pay $170 inorder to playthem. I grew up with the n64 so I played most of the big games and If i was going to spend $40 on street fighter would spend it on the superior pc version. Also the fact that the vita is coming out has certainly been a deterrent towards investing into a 3ds the games are far more appealing to me on the psv so far and the multimedia functions its offering will be superior to the 3ds combined with all the power and ways to control games they packed into the vita makes it for me much more appealing then the 3ds.

last handheld I owned was Game Boy black and white...you know, the silver lead brick
