SW IS dominated by PC gamers. Not a surprise in light of the fact thar PC gained a lot of support lately. People do like better quality gaming PC is offering, despite  that it doesn´t have the 1st party exclusives. But who needs 1st party interactive movies when they look like **** in comparison to many low budget indie games on PC. Oh... the irony. Besides we can observe how gaming industry is changing towards to embracing PC as a lead developing platform. MS and Sony are losing their positions while third-party developers and Steam are cementing the bases for the PC Gaming Empire.

I really wanted to post this on sw and stsmat's post has given me the perfect opportunity to do so

It's not really suprising.

Pc gamers tend to be hobbyists. Your average Pc gamer is the kind fo gamer that visits sites like Kotaku and Gamespot, and keeps up to date on stuff going on in the industry.

Your average Pc gamer would know who you are tlkaing about if you said "Ken Levine" or "Todd Howard", or "Greg Zeschuk".

Console gamers runs a wider gamut. Certianly some consoel gamers - the core, would be just as informed as the average PC gamer, but the average console gamer? Not a lcue who those people are, and they probably don't visit any gmaing websites, and certianly NOT a gaming forum - that would make you a geek!

A lot of people working in the critics circle have commented on this. They tend to see a disproportionatley large amount of Pc gamers - simply because they tend to be much mroe into gaming (aagain vs the AVERAGE console gamer - I'm not generalizing here to include all fo them).

Master Race; poor peasants always arguing over their weak consoles and their 5 hour exclusive games that they wait months for LOL-RocBoys9489-

I voted PC just because if I had to choose only one that would be it.

But I'm really PC, PS, Nintendo.  I liked the original Xbox, but the 360 doesn't do much for me.

I own a PC and a PS3, but I would consider myself part of the pc faction. Honestly though, I don't get that much time to actually play games. Most of my time is split between game development, and recording music. When I do get time for games, I usually play BF3 or Diablo 3. The next game I will buy will be Metro Last Light.

Hermits are so full of crap. I do agree that PC game is the awesome because of the mods and the extra things you can do such as console ~ cheats and such, but you guys come in here with your stupid, precious, water cooled, core i10000, 50 terrabytes of RAM, 10thousand terrabyte harddrive, water cooled power switches and a bunch of other unnecessary crap and act like you're superior and better than everyone. Just because you felt like spending ten million dollars on a freaking computer doesn't mean you're superior. If anything hermits only have an advantage over Lems and in some multiplats. No one gives a crap so you can all pull the processors out of your butts and shut the hec up. Ooh, I have a gtx 10000, well I have a gtsx+ 10, billion...Oh wait, the gtsxv+-() xxl 20,000 just came out right as the freaking mailman is delivering your new video card to your door. Yes, your hardware can handle anything with simple hardware upgrades but consoles are made to not be upgrade-able. If anything you guys shouldn't even be in the race.
