lol good luck with that.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/05/28/ultra-street-fighter-iv-suffers-performance-issues-at-launch

Even though a patch has been released people are still having problems and its not a very good sign that Capcom would screw up like this on a FIGHTING game.

If this ends to be true...i would be very surprised...anyway, thank God is coming to PC because i don't intend to get a PS4 in the near future and i'm really, really hyped for this.

@WilliamRLBaker:

That was low budget port outsourced to crappy studio that Capcom had no involvement with. You really think they will go cheap on SFV? You should check out the glowing previews for SFV that came out today. That game is gonna be really good.

Regardless if it's SF5 exclusive to PS4 or Tomb Raider exclusive to X1, it's the fans of those series that pay the price of not being able to play a favorite game. The only people that benefit from this are Sony/Microsoft (depending) and dumb ass fanboys blinded by stupidity.

Long standing multiplatform third party games should remain multiplatform (all major systems).

Xbox players don't care about fighting games anyway. No lost to no one but PS4/PC owners will not have to deal with parity due to the terrible Xbox One hardware.

Obviously capcom don't want people think their will ever be an xbox one version of SF5 so gamers will buy the PS4 Version. I'm loving this PR spin sony/capcom came up with to make gamers believe capcom actually needed sony to fund SF5.

If there's one thing sony does better than both microsoft/nintendo its appear innocent and "for gamers" ....

What got you to buy the uno? Friends?

More or less. I still think that it's a system with potential, but I've played nothing on it thus far to make me feel that it was, in any way, a justified purchase. I hope that will change down the road, but at this point I'd rather have a PS4. Of course I can still get the quad, but I physically have no room for a third system at the moment =P

If it makes you feel better, the PS4 hasn't justified itself to me either outside of being a Bloodborne machine : >

I don't really care since I'll be playing it on PC. The good news is that SFIV can be played on a potato and SFV isn't THAT much improved visually imo. If it can be played on potato's as well I'm sure more will flock to PC.

How is it hypocrisy? It's two completely different companies, different deals, Microsoft is co-developing, funding, marketing and publishing Rise of the Tomb Raider. You're trying to draw parallels between two completely different situations because they appear similar when they're anything but, also Capcom has a history of telling stories that end up being untrue.

The only funding that MS is doing for Tomb Raider is the marketing and the only co-developing they're doing is XB1 specific improvements with DX12.

It's not even being listed as exclusive on the official Xbox site, and Phil already said the game is timed and Square Enix can do whatever they want after the duration of the deal.

Actually FG's are resurging slowly.... but they definitely are making a comeback thanks to the changes that have been going on, of course Street Fighter has nothing to do with that because their shit just doesn't change.

So uhm... yeah... shout out to KI, Mortal Kombat and Smash.

That's a ridiculous statement.

Even if Street Fighter was more of the same, to act like Street Fighter 4 had no impact on the "resurgence" of fighting games last gen, especially the up take in the competitive scene is ridiculous.

SFV is going to have massive changes including a focus on the story mode people are obsessed with.

Killer Instinct and MK are no substitutes for SFV if you are serious about fighting games.

Eh.....No thanks. The series or franchise DIED, imo, in generation 4 & 5, an era where they belong.

This isn't 1991 at the arcades anymore. I haven't played any of the franchise since Street Fighter Alpha 2 (PS1).

We all know this is bullshit to keep Sony happy so they don't lose sales on the initial version of Street Fighter V and are able to sell more consoles as a result. If people find out they can get the Super or Ultra versions on the Xbox One before the retail vanilla game even releases then its exclusivity with Sony loses a lot of steam.

I still have absolutely no doubt the other iterations of SFV will be on the Xbox One and release at the same time as they would on the PlayStation 4, this is just marketing spin to appease Sony, nothing more and nothing less.

What a delusional fool, I knew this guy was anti-Sony but this is just pathetic.

It's NOT coming to Xbox One, suck it up and move on.

This exclusivity deal is perplexing. First off countless multiplats get marketing support from either Sony or MS over the years, either will pay for the advertising of multiplatform games to get their logo plastered at the end of the TV spot or internet advertisement, the game remains multiplat but the one that foots the bill gets the advantage of their system getting mentioned in tandem with the game ad. So, they're saying this deal extends to more than just marketing support? How so, Sony's publishing it? How's that beneficial to Capcom to give up a key franchise to another? They obviously didn't need funding. But stepping back, was it a contractual obligation that made them publish SFIV only on PS4 and not Xbox One when it came to the next gen systems? Or develop Deep Down for PS4 and not Xbox One? Or develop Dragon Dogma online for PS4/PS3 and not any of the Xbox? No, obviously not. I'd say if anything this is obviously Capcom playing favorites. They've done this the last few gens. Last gen Capcom pulled this with the Wii. Before that the GameCube. Looks like this time they're saddling with a winner they've always wanted. But just be truthful, they're playing favorites. This has absolutely nothing to do with contracts or funding being necessary to make their games.

The same way EA plays favorites with MS.

It's not about being okay with it; it just sucks big time. I realize people are gonna damage control and pretend it's not a big deal...but it is, considering PS4 has more fighting games than X1; and let's not forget one of X1's fighters is a freaking Kinect game.

This just motivated me to buy a ps4 again.

Damn son

As a game company MS's policies and attitude deter most people who actually like making games Xbros. Sony has a lot less money than MS, but MS causes a lot more problems and has many stupid restrictions that producers would just rather not deal with.

Two things to say about this.

1: I don't know why any gamer would actually celebrate corporate practises like this. They are essentially freezing out a whole fanbase for money. It's not good for anyone. I could play it, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be happy about it.

2. Looks the same as street fighter 2 with a coat of paint.

SFV is going to be just fine without Xbox One. I bet PC sales will go up because of the cross-play. Capcom certainly feels great about the deal based on their sales prediction of 2 million by the end of their fiscal year.

Except Street Fighter was crushing it in the sales department in 09, and it wasn't just to the hardcore audience. The brand name still holds casual appeal, they just leave once the walled garden aspect of Street Fighter takes over. You want to give credit to MK, Injustice, and really just Neather Realms getting a good fighting engine for the first time, that's fine. They made a more casual friendly fighting game, but no one else is more responsible for fighting games getting a bit more attention than Street Fighter coming back to form with Street Fighter 4.

Not Tekken when Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag 2 were barely a blip on the radar, and Smash has always been smash, and if anything recently had another entry the competitive scene wanted to get behind.

Except that Capcom were basically being assholes to Ono as he was more or less bending over backwards to try to make it, Sony had to come in and say they'll willingly fund it to make SFV a thing. It's not a Tomb Raider scenario as much as it's closer to a Bayonetta 2 scenario. Where chances are that game wasn't being made anytime soon (in Bayonetta 2's case it flat out wasn't going to be made).

lol, who cares. The game looks like it'll run on a low end PC.

Anyway, I'll pick it up on the PC a few years down the line when Capcom are done milking it to ****.
